Lovely hotel in a great location for visiting the Broads and Nofolk coast. Quiet location on a Staithe with a view of boats on the water nearby. The staff are very welcoming. It is super dog friendly. Excellent menu with really tasty food. Great breakfasts. Comfortable beds. Easy private parking. The hotel itself needs some decorating in places but they are aware of this and it is an ongoing work in progress. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here on a business trip: beautiful location, quiet, safe, well situated for exploring the area. Fishing, walking, cycling, boating are all available locally. Great Indian restaurant in the village.

Good Hotel with Lovely Food
We had nice sized room that was well decorated, comfortable bed, clean with nice view of the moorings. Great dinner and very good breakfast. Will stay there again when in the area.

Such character for an older building. The food was excellent, both breakfasts and evening meals, you certainly wouldn't go hungry. Paul and Lisa made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend the hotel, and will be going back.

Lovely welcoming staff. Enormous amounts of good, very well cooked and delicious for a good price. Comfortable and spacious room with tea, coffee etc. Large choice of breakfast, cereals, toast, full english or sandwiches inc dairy and gluten free options included in price. Highly recommended

A good stay at this hotel. For the price we paid - happy with the accommodation. They are renovating so it's a work in progress. Room and bathroom were fine, nice shower. Dinner and breakfast were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very steep stairs, which proved a bit of a problem for our young puppy - but we managed.

Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to busy (and often noisy) main road. Appreciate that the hotel is in a transition since new owners took over in 2023 so understand it is not yet at its optimum. Room was clean. Could not leave window open as there was a flat roof outside and other rooms/double doors linked to the same area. Breakfast was satisfactory with the friendly staff happy to accommodate guests requirements.
