Just what we needed. Such a beautiful place, especially in the fall. Kitchen was adequately stocked but we brought everything we needed. Cozy beds and plenty of warmth. The grounds are gorgeous and steeped in deep history that is explained on a print out in the cabin. We will be back!

Perfect Stay for Two
We love the history. Although the home is old, it has all of the necessary modern provisions. The wifi for our personal devices worked fine, but we weren't able to get the TV to connect properly, so we did what we should do more of and read. Tiffany was great to work with. They worked hard to make this home special!

Near yet private location to town.
It be unique to be able to stay in an old log cabin. The cabin was very cozy. There was a herd of deer in the field by the house the first night we arrived.

Historic cabin with cozy modern updates
What a lovely cabin! We were so comfortable here. Very close to at least one of the entrances to NRG National Park, and very close to the bridge. So quiet at night. This is a definite A+!

In town for spartan race
Had a great time for the weekend visit. The cabin is very close to all the hiking trails & some dog-friendly eateries & breweries. We didn’t get to take advantage of the fire pit bc it was very hot the whole weekend, but the cabin stayed nice and cool, even without using the AC. We would definitely stay again if we come back

Cabin was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. Unqiue history and story to the property and cabin. Conveniently located near New River Gorge National Park too.

Oak Hill Stay
We had wonderful time at the Cabin. It was cozy, clean, and very convenient to many activities that were available in the surrounding areas. The only downside was that we were not able to get the TV to work because of poor internet connectivity in the area. Our phones and tablets worked fine though, and our time was spent outside anyway. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would return in the future should we decide to travel to this area again.

Historic Log Cabin
This is definitely an historic log cabin. It was clean and quiet. However, we did encounter a few issues. The portable A/C unit was not large enough to keep the cabin cool, especially at night. There was no shampoo, body soap, or coffee. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee. Luckily, we just happened to have body wash & shampoo with us. I tried contacting the host to see if there was extra toilet paper & soap, but he never responded. The tv often didn’t connect to the internet & we had to restart the system daily.

Charming & Comfortable
This cabin was exactly perfect for my stay in WV! Dog-friendly, comfortable, and with great proximity to many outdoor adventure opportunities. Yes, the cabin is at the end of a residential street, but as a "solo w/dog" traveler that actually gave me a little peace of mind. Great little getaway place. I highly recommend.

Everything was just ok from the interior to the exterior landscaping. I know it is a cabin but needs some furniture updates. Never could get the large tv to link to the wi-fi.

A historical feeling with modern conveniences.
This almost didn't happen because there was a storm that took the power out. But, fortunately, the power was on and we were able to have 2 nights there. It has so much character. It was clean and located close to the New River Gorge for us to commute back and forth. Tiffany was wonderful to communicate with us and she and Kevin gave a quick history lesson of the place.
