The staff at this Hilton were generally friendly, and the breakfast was decent—your standard all-you-can-eat buffet with a good variety, though a bit overpriced. The location is convenient, and there’s a nearby garage where you can park for $12 if you want to avoid valet.
That said, the hotel has some issues that made our stay less enjoyable. The room had a sliding bathroom door with no lock and no counter space, which made getting ready a bit of a hassle. Our AC wasn’t working, so we had to sleep with the windows open. The room phone didn’t work for local calls, and the door required a hard pull just to shut properly.
They don’t replenish the complimentary* water bottles daily. (* You need to be an Hilton member for them to be complimentary.) Also, parking feels a bit like a cash grab. Most of the lot is reserved for valet ($17), leaving limited self-parking, which nudges you toward valet service.
All in all, this stay fell short of the Hilton standard. While the location and staff were positives, the lack of attention to amenities and maintenance held it back from being a satisfying experience.
