The host couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. This is an excellent location for anyone visiting Oban or needing a place to stay before or after a ferry crossing. Super close to the supermarkets and ferry terminal. The room was very clean, modern bathroom and was peaceful.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Host was lovely and breakfast service prompt. Decor was very dated however and my bed was lumpy and uncomfortable so didn’t sleep too well. There was a shortage of electrical sockets and none near the mirror which made hair drying very difficult. The mirror was hung so low it was only suitable for children or very small adults.
Friendly guest house. Ensuite single room was a very good size. 10 mins walk into Oban. Stayed overnight on a cycle trip and had access to secure, lockable storage for bike.
Lovely clean quiet guesthouse within a few minutes easy walking distance of Oban town centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Okay for a couple nights
Got checked in a little earlier than 4 pm which was good. Room very small but okay. Furnishings bit dated but clean enough. Odd configuration with sink in bedroom then toilet/shower in very small “cupboard”. Bed not very comfy and our room was right beside internal door so quite noisy. We were informed on arrival there would be no cooked breakfast the next morning as she had to go out, however she was there and made coffee/tea and toast so unsure why it wasn’t possible to make a breakfast, however adequate selection of cereal, fruit and yogurt. No hairdryer in room but I got one when requested. I was under impression room had been prepaid but she said that wasn’t the case so I have to check with bank. Location okay but no footpath on that side so bit dodgy crossing over at busy periods. 10 minute walk into town. Probably wouldn’t stay here again as stayed in nicer b&bs in Oban previously.
During our family trip we stayed stayed 1 night. The owner was great from the time we checked in to when checked out
The breakfast in the morning was very good.
Morven, the owner was so sweet. We loved the place, room, facilities, quiet in the night, cooked breakfast. She also let us to leave our cat parked at her parking lot, meanwhile we already checked out and went for whole day trip to Isles.
Great location, quiet.
Definitely would recommend and thank you again ❤️
Lovely guest house. Clean, comfortable room. No worry about sharing a bathroom - which was kept really clean too. Great, cooked to order, breakfast. Convenient for Oban centre, just a short easy walk. We, by chance, were there on a busy week - the round the world clipper race yachts were in town - and rooms were hard to come by and v expensive - this was a little gem of a find.
The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and had excellent suggestions about the logistics of getting around. In fact, she offered to let me leave my car in the car park after I'd checked out!
Very friendly and hospitable, and breakfast was delicious.
very nice old style b&b.
Host was extremely friendly, let me leave bags in b&b after checking out before catching later ferry.
I booked as needed night to stay between ferry trips
Only stayed 2 nights but after my first night my room was freshened up for me. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was was nice.
Only negative was that the room needs blackout curtains..
The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast times were flexible and the breakfast itself was excellent. There were good places to eat locally and we particularly liked The Lorne.
Morven went out of her way to ensure our stay was pleasant. This is an good basic B&B with 70's style decor. It is within easy walking distance of the town/railway station. There's free parking, free wifi and a selection of breakfast options available. Our room was a suitable size for two people. A kettle is provided as well as a generous selection of drink sachets/tea bags and there was even a few choccy biccies! There are many places to eat (The Lorne was good) as well as Lidl, Aldi and Tesco supermarkets between the guest house and the town.
We had a wonderful stay at the Glenview B&B. Our hosts were terrific. The room was very bright and the bed was comfortable. So nice to have an adjoining bathroom.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had a take away breakfast one morning as we had an early departure.
Thank you for a lovely stay!!!
