Our rooms on the first floor were very noisy with sounds from the streets and the sea birds. It was a hot week in Scotland and the rooms didn’t cool down at night. Overall it was a fine room with a nice location.

Reserved a specific room that could sleep 3 people, 2 adults and a child. When I got to the hotel they gave me a similar room that only slept 2 adults for the same price and then charged me £15 for an additional cot bed that had a 2” mattress on springs. Staff was rude while addressing the issue saying it wasn’t their problem. Great area, pick a different hotel if you want what you paid for and reserved months in advance.

Our stay at The Scot was great. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is great, very close to Oban distillery, restaurants, shopping, etc.. Property was clean and bar was nice for breakfast and evening drinks. We were even allowed to bring in takeaway food to eat with no issues. Parking was good and secluded behind the hotel from the driveway at the right of the hotel. Relating to the actual room, we had reserved a 'king' room. It was a cozy space but we were ok since we did not plan on spending much time there other than sleeping. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

Spacious, clean rooms with a very good bed and the best pillows and towels. The kitchen could be better equipped - more towels, a cutting board, and a microwave would all have been most welcome.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Staff we spoke to were so lovely and friendly. We stayed in one of the rooms that is separate to the main property, and it was very well equipped and spacious. So clean and very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Greta location comfortable stay.

Good location. We stayed in the villa, large space. Parking is onsite. Great local pub across the street. Walking distance to everything. Must eat at the “Green Shack”! Breakfast was not good.

Modest accommodations in a lovely town populated with friendly folk. Located just up the street from the train station and within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants, pubs, and the Oban distillery to maximize your local experience. The room was relatively small but cozy. There is no lift but a staff member offered to tote my heavy bag up the stairs. The doors lock at certain hours so be certain you have your key and card with the passcode with you at all times.
