A gorgeous location, a small but lovely pool and a fine evening meal were the highlights. Not for the first time in this area the room was way too warm in July. No AC or fan in the room really spoiled the experience.

Do not hesitate.

The hotel is family-run by very fine people and the man in charge is locally recognized as a talented chef. The interior is modern, while preserving the traditional mountain culture of Central Europe -- stone pine is found throughout the building. Rooms are up-to-date, incredibly spacious, comfortable, and clean. Internet was fast and reliable. The shower had plenty of hot water and decent pressure. Breakfast was bountiful, including freshly-made vegetable juice on my second morning. If I could recommend improvements, it would be nice if the sauna were available throughout the day and evening without interruption; and, at breakfast, fresh squeezed orange juice and yogurt in sealed glass would be appreciated. On the whole, an outstanding value for this under-rated property.

The food was excellent! We had a 2br suite for the family. Plenty of space. Not much there for winter but outdoor area looks nice for summer.

A jewel in the Mountains.

The drive from Calais to Vipiteno was worth it: a friendly, well appointed family-owned hotel with mountain views and beautiful interiors in the old part - dining room, bar, etc. My bedroom, in the modern extension, was more utilitarian, but nonetheless comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, offering a good range of local dishes and surprisingly inexpensive.I was tempted to stay another night. Thouroughly recommended.

A good choice!

We received a nice welcome here. Good parking for the car on the other side of a quiet road but only a couple of minutes from the main road. A lovely spacious quiet room was provided with a separate comfortable sitting area and also balcony. This was great after a long drive from south Tuscany. Bedroom was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was fine and spotless. Food was good standard and tasty. All together an enjoyable stopover and good value for money. Would have liked to stay longer. Whilst trains do run nearby they are shielded and did not disturb us at all. Thank you to owner.

Perfect stopover.

It was as good as its reviews. It is close to the main through routes but in a tranquil and peaceful hamlet. Very friendly, very comfortable without losing its traditional charm.
