We had a fabulous stay in this hotel - the level of service and personal attention was fantastic - from accommodating our later than planned arrival and later dinner time, through to every interaction with staff. The set dinner tasing menu of 9 courses was very special and the welcome drink at the bar in front of the stove was thoughtful and a lovely touch as were all the little treats and drinks. We would love to return. Thank you to all the staff.
Awesome place for relaxation, surrounding has nada
I loved the place. The service is really excellent and the food is soooo fabulous. Me and my husband still dream of the food there. Breakfast and dinner is included and they really stuff you full of good, fresh food. The place is a 2.5 hour ride from chitose airport by train, which will cost you around 7000 yen one way (~$70 usd ). There is a shuttle you can book to pick u up at the nearest train station. It comes twice daily. About the surroundings though, there is absolutely nothing to do. No attractions. The hotel's hot spring directly to your room's bath tub is the attraction. TV only has japanese channels.
The most impressive is the food; the room and onsen are not outstanding comparatively. Location by a main road and very little sceneray in the surrounding area but the hotel's own garden is nice.
