New hotel right in front of the World Equestrian Center. Staff was excellent and the hotel was decorated in a very nice Horse-centric motif. Room was spacious and clean and the pool area is awesome.

For this being a new facility I was shocked to find the shower head in our room was broken and in the morning we couldn't get a hot shower. This was slow season and the place wasnt packed so why didnt their new hot water system keep up with demand? When we arrived Saturday afternoon we noticed cups placed near the front entrance by teen age guests. Sunday morning the cups were still there as employees kept walking right by them wirh no concern about it. We also noticed trash in the road on the grounds of WEC and observed employees in WEC owned golf carts driving around the trash and leaving it in the roadway. Sunday morning while having breakfast in the main lobby dinning area we noticed food on the floor and worm like bugs with many legs wandering around. I brought this up to the front desk and it was addressed promptly. Lazy employees with no desire to go above and beyond seems to be an issue. When things were brought to their attention they addressed them promptly but this is stuff guests paying around $300 a night shouldn't be seeing and watching employees not care about such a beautiful facility shows there's a problem with their hiring system and standards. I hope this doesn't continue as the facility grows as its a first class event center with top of the line facilities and has so much to offer the surrounding communities.
