Our room was very clean and neat. I observed the cleaning crew as I was leaving and they were very thorough in cleaning the room, removing sofa cushions, etc.. The front desk staff was not pleasant or welcoming. A bunch of young snotty girls that seemed annoyed if you asked them questions about the facility and the surrounding area. The common areas need to be upgraded. The pool didn’t look clean so we didn’t dare use it and the indoor bar was empty/closed on a Saturday afternoon in mid summer! That area just needs more excitement for me to feel like the $400 a night I paid for was worth it. Maybe ensuring bartenders were available in the tiki huts, some music, and perhaps some activities like other resorts do??

Check in was painful. No signage present for queuing the line so guests had to awkwardly try to figure out which is the back of the line. The young lady who checked us in was polite but not very helpful with sharing useful information. "Do you need a parking pass for the garage?" I can't imagine who wouldn't. Failed to mention pool and beach access are on level 2 (the bellhop let us know), failed to mention ALL housekeeping by request (no problem but would be nice to know. We just called for towels and trash bins to be cleared), failed to mention the Hotels.com resort credit we had on our account. Lobby looks clean and modern. Many of the guest room hallways don't. Luckily, we had one of the renovated rooms. It was nice but it was obvious where corners were cut (weird drop ceiling tiles in bathroom, large open area in kitchen where a table and chairs COULD fit). On first entering the room, promptly removed footwear and there was a dusting of sand through the whole suite. During the stay, there were no issues worth bringing to attention of management. All calls to front desk for requests were handled relatively quickly except for one towel refresh; delivered a few hours later. The foreign students working on site were all so kind and courteous. It's pretty embarrassing that I can't say the same for all of the staff WITHOUT accents.

The staff at the outdoor bar/restaurant were horrible. Not friends or helpful at all. Check-in was at 5:00pm however, to be able to check in @ 3:00pm, this would cost an additional $50.00. Absolutely ridiculous since I’m already paying a fortune for staying there already. The elevators were so slow that there always a line of people waiting.

Solid beachfront option with amenities
Needed a place to stay for 1 night before checking into a condo for longer stay. I had read reviews that this place was solid. It had all the amenities you would want if you were traveling with a couple or or with a family. Our balcony room had a two burner stove, and above counter microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig was stocked coffee. It also had plates and dishes. It had a separate sitting room with the TV mounted to the wall and one chair and couch, and the bedroom also had a TV. The bedroom had a king size bed, and could certainly accommodate a pack and play. This would be a great place to bring a family. The indoor pool is large however the smell of chlorine was overpowering. Understood given the amount of children circulating in the pool. There was a nice outdoor beach bar and sitting area, and the beach was very well kept, I paid $247 for the room and felt it was worth it. There is also parking in the garage across the street from check-in if you’re expecting a modern decorated hotel room this is not the place for you. It is efficient and standard. There were very nice plastic Adirondack chairs on the balcony, which was a nice bonus

Staff was extremely helpful & pleasant & most knew our names by the second day. Room had just been remodeled (and they are continuing to remodel others) so everything was brand new, clean, & comfortable. Had free electric car charging stations in the parking garage for guests. The only small downside was that it’s slightly confusing to navigate the building depending upon where your room is located, I definitely could have used a map.

Front desk staff was detached, arrogate, and not very helpful. They made you feel like they were doing you a favor to serve you. Everything was " Wait a minute." Laughing at customers in their faces. Very immature!!! For the prices of the rooms, they should greet customs properly and smile. You have to take out you own trash and ask for clean towels. The sauna and jacuzzi were removed from the pool.
