Finding the room was a bit challenging, all the receptionist said was ‘you’re up one flight of stairs.’ There is no elevator and when you go up the flight of stairs you’re led through a door to a shared balcony with chairs. It would have been nice to know that you enter through a balcony door AND that the room numbers were on small placards above the sliding door. The beds were unfortunately not comfortable and neither were the pillows. The pillows were cheap, something you would find for a few bucks at a department store. But the room was clean and acceptable for our one night stay. The view and location were great.

The Norseman is located right on the beach. We could see the ocean from our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful! We were impressed! We will be back! I can't recommend it enough! Very relaxing and enjoyable!

Beautiful views from the oceanfront room. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t imagine the beach at its busy summer season. It’s October and was a lot of people in town and at the beach.

We absolutely loved our room, it was clean, you’re right at the beach, very short walk to Ogunquit Village, we shopped we were able to eat, walk back to the hotel… beds were comfortable bathroom was updated. We have no complaints at all. We loved our visit.

Noise an issue on the first floor
The room was fine overall but noise was an issue. We were on the first floor and heard every step and word from the people in the room above, and in addition the wall heating unit was quite loud. It would trouble me less if the nightly price was on the cheap side, but for $350+ for the night, I expect a more soundproof experience.

Right on the beach. Nice room. Walk across the bridge to town for lots of shops and food options. Only complaint was the bright light outside that lit up the room no matter what I did.

Location great. Room clean. Cleaning staff very pleasant. Staff in the store very unprofessional. Didn’t acknowledge when we were standing at the counter. Eating instead. Happened more than once. Bed was very lumpy. Room 202. Splash restaurant very good and friendly. This was our first visit. Will go back. Now we know we need to bring our own beach chairs and beach towels. Chairs are available for a hefty price to rent.
