Its a nice place...I think the parking options could be better...
Valet parking $30...when u can park across the street along the street for free...
$50 accidental but supposed to get it back...i think hotels should add that into the price of the room not charge u again...
Bed was comfy and pillows could be better (fluffier) but was a clean too. And smelled new...
We booked two days. The rooms were not serviced after the first night. They charged for breakfast but it was nothing special. Most, much less expensive, hotels include that kind of breakfast for free. The location is nice and overall a nice, new hotel
It wasn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault but we had incredibly rude, loud, and inconsiderate neighbors. About 2am I had taken all I could and went the front desk to request some help. The young woman offered to move us to another room but we were traveling with small children and waking them up would’ve only prolonged my wife and me being unable to get to sleep. We checked out early and ended up going home much earlier than planned.
In rating this hotel on cleanliness and service I’d give it an excellent rating. It is located in the Bricktown/downtown area which allows you to choose from so many amenities that Okc Bricktown offers and all within walking distances if you like. One downfall for me personally was the fact that there is no hotel “parking lot” available. Being a family in need of wheelchair accessible parking, we were left with no choice but to use the hotel valet service. While nice and accommodating through a mobile texting service it does come with a cost equatable to almost thirty dollars. I’d say this hotel is perfect for couples getaways but family accessibility might prove challenging unless you don’t mind the leg work.
Overall our stay at the Hyatt Place was very good. The rooms were very clean and spacious! We came in for a concert at the Paycom Center and it took us about 15 minutes to walk which wasn’t bad. My only complaint was the parking. Valet was the only option and it’s a bit pricey. So I ended up parking in a public parking garage about 2 blocks away. Saved me a little money but it would have been nice if the hotel had complimentary parking.
I booked a king bed room but got a double queen. We were in a daze after driving and unpacked before I realized the bed situation; therefore we didn’t want to pack up and change rooms. Seems like a pretty good oversight though.
Ant infestation in the room, restroom, hotel is raving on how clean they are and it the total opposite, missed the house keeping personnel 2 out of the 3 days we stayed at the location.
Got bitten by ants on my neck, daughter on her chin, communicated to the front desk staff and they just acted surprised but nothing was corrected.
Stayed there for 2 nights last week. Place is great. Very nice patio with a bar right inside. Room has great and very clean. My only issues were the pillows and the parking. Valet is the only option for parking. The pillows in the room were not good.
