This was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen in my life. There was dry, maybe cat food in the drawers of the nightstands. There were boogers wiped on the walls, everything was covered in dust. There was a bad smell like it had been closed up for years. We actually went and bought some Clorox wipes and Febreze to freshen at least the areas that we were going to use. There was no bathmat in the shower and it was very very slippery when wet. It was very hard to take a shower and I had to take two because my purpose for getting in the room was to have surgery the following day so I had to take a shower at night and when in the morning and pretty much had to hold onto the handle throughout my whole shower, so very hard to wash. But I do have to say that the sheets appeared to be clean, and the bed was very comfortable, which was my main consideration at that point. And that is the only reason that we did not leave. I used to work in a hotel so I understand the work involved, but there was no excuse for the way our room looked. The carpets were all soiled, I get some stains that you cannot remove it. A lot of them look like they weren’t even tried to be removed. And I did just wear my shoes because I didn’t wanna wear my bare feet in there, but very disappointing because a lot of the reviews that I read were good and that’s why I booked that hotel. I guess I didn’t look at the dates to see if they were recent or maybe these reviews were from five years ago I don’t know.
