We got one of the largest rooms on the top floor (fifth). It is a big suite - perhaps the biggest of the hotel rooms that I have stayed around the world. All other rooms have a view of the sea (Wakasa Bay). The hotel gives a coupon to use the swimming pool / spa complex next door. For the pool, sauna and sea water jaccuzi, you need a swimming cap (which you can buy from a vending machine). Communication in English is somewhat limited. The "English breakfast" is not what I would expect from English breakfast, but it is a delicious combination of pre-fixed menu of roast beef, poached (gratinated) egg, poached fish with bechamel sauce, salad, yogurt+fruit served to your table, in addition to bread, juice, coffee, tea, rice, miso soup served buffet style. Super clean and spacious all around. It is in a complex with some super market and "michi-no-eki" local produce/food shop.
