Enjoy a weekend getaway perfect for two or a relaxing family vacation with all your loved ones. Staying at Phoenix II, you’ll experience gulf-front views, direct beach access and enough family fun for the whole family!

We know your main attraction is the sugar white sands and emerald waves of the Gulf of Mexico, which are just steps from your accommodations. Our condos have gulf front views from their balconies as well. An outdoor pool that is heated in the winter for your enjoyment, hot tubs, a sauna, and a children's pool for the little ones are also available. Beach volleyball, racquetball and tennis courts are available on the grounds plus the exercise room to stay in shape.

Wristbands will be issued to all guests upon check in. Wristbands are required to access the property and property amenities year round

Awful experience
Floors turned my baby’s feet black, my baby found a bag of pills, the tubs and toilets were nasty. All the dishes were dirty and had to be washed. I wouldn’t stay here again. Owner was unavailable all weekend

Lovely weekend at the beach
The property was great! Easy parking. Beautiful view from the 26th floor. Elevators are fast. Pools and lazy river were nice. Parking cost was $45 per car, not $23. Otherwise the property was just what we hoped for!

Do Not book with this rental company!
This was not the unit we received. This unit we booked-is beautiful. I wish we would have stayed here. Instead, they moved us-WITH NO NOTIFICATION (I checked my spam folder) to a unit overlooking the parking lot. The entire reason we booked this unit was for the oceanfront view to spend some time outside as a family not with others. The property company will not speak to you on the phone-only over email and will not resolve the situation. VRBO will not resolve either. They say in their terms and conditions they reserve the right to move to a comparable unit. This is not it. Looking at a road and a parking deck is not the same, and I should not pay the same rate for those 2 views. I read reviews previously about trouble with this property service, but I never believed it could happen to me. I stay at the gulf frequently and have never had an issue, but this is ridiculous-the very definition of bait and switch.

Could not stay in room due to mold
We did not stay at this property due to mold in the entire condo. I had poor service in trying to relocate my large party due to the fact that I could not get anyone on the phone with the host. The only communication was via email. I am getting a full refund from the host and I expect the service fee from VRBO of $202.00 to be refunded as well as we were unable to stay in this unit. I would like to speak to someone regarding this l, please call me as soon as possible.

Won't do that again!
The condo itself was great, just as listed/pictured. Booking with VRBO then being sent to a third party site for check in instructions, NEVER AGAIN. The code we were given on the 'app' from the third party was WRONG. So at check in time, we were unable to get into our room. There are no phone numbers to quickly call for help, all correspondence is done through email. Being locked out of our room, then having to send an email and then wait for someone to respond was unacceptable. As previously stated, condo was perfect. Clean, good room, and beautiful view. But booking needs MAJOR upgrades.

Great stay with perfect view
We loved everything about this stay! If I had to complain, it would definitely be the elevators being so slow. And our dryer didn't work properly on the last day. We tried for a bit then decided to give up and throw everything that was damp in a bag to go home. Spacious, clean rooms with everything you still need. Loved the ice maker!

The condo was very nice. It was unfortunately still dirty upon arrival which was disappointing considering we paid $100 for early checkin. Tubs still dirty, urine on toilet seat in double bed bath, apple core laying on floor in front bedroom (king bed). There’s not a lot of cookware. We cook a lot so we ended up buying a few things. We had to get additional towels for kitchen otherwise the one would be washed continuously. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would stay again just plan on bringing the extras.

We love the Phoenix West II and this condo (2607) met our expectations and the listing was exactly what we paid for. Roomy, amazing sunrise view, comfortable, and convenient to EVERYTHING! Our unit was good but some appliances were not working. Ice Maker in the fridge would only do crushed ice, and we noticed the tv in the living room had a line on it while watching Sunday football. For the price we paid, I feel like these things shouldn't be an issue.

Comfortable space
I referred to the condo as the orange unit because the pictures make everything look orange. No orange at all. The unit is very roomy and comfortable, but the cleaning crew left things like bobby pins in rooms, so cleanliness is not the best. Also the ice maker in the bar area has pieces of black stuff in it, making us a bit afraid to use the ice. Overall a good stay.

Unresponsive property management
We turned in 2 work orders for a washing machine that didn’t work properly. It sounded like a hurricane coming through the bathroom and alarmed us all every time we tried to wash a load of clothes. Supposedly someone was coming to look at it but never showed up. I got married this week and the towels were never caught up for showers bc of insufficient wAsher. There were other issues In the unit also but we didn’t turn those in because the previous work orders were never resolved. Parking is insane. Large trucks block the other parking spaces so u are forced to the top of the deck. We had to plan ahead for 10-15 minute waits for the elevator also. Hopefully making management aware of the issues will help other families. I usually don’t write comments but for the cost of the unit, I expected more.

Maintenance needed badly
The place itself is a beautiful room. However, upon check in we realized the ac wasn’t cooling. We emailed the people through the proper way in the listing. We spent Saturday evening through Monday with the room at 78 degrees. On Monday i called the emergency hotline and someone came out that day and fixed it. The dryer also doesn’t dry well. Everything had to be dried 3 times and still towels had to be laid outside to finish drying. The toilet in the hallway bathroom keeps running. We had to take the top off every time we flushed it and push the plunger down. We couldn’t plug anything in on the patio because the GFCI didn’t work. It looked like it had been there as long as the building had. We’ve been coming to orange beach at least twice a year does about 10 years and this has been the worse experience. I loved the location and setup of the Phoenix 2 amenities. Everything else around there was awesome, just not the actual room experience.

I had to change my own sheets
I enjoyed coming out to the beach, but I had to change my own bed sheets because they were not changed when the previous guest left. For the price we pay, that is something that should never happen. We can’t check-in until 4PM, therefore the room should be spotless. The wall and curtains had pizza sauce fingerprints. There was no one available to fix these issues when they were found, so I had to clean them myself. I was also overcharged for my parking pass. It was advertised as one price but I was charged more. The washer was absolutely horrible, it sounded as if someone was breaking through a wall during the spin cycle. We had to turn it off and wring our clothes before putting them in the dryer. For that price, please do better. Thanks

Elevators
Elevators are terrible. 30 min wait on average. Ceiling fan in bedroom number two is off balance and to noisy to sleep in the room. Made for tough sleep in the smaller room. Overall pool and beach area where great. Room was good other than the ceiling fan. Will not stay at this property again because of the elevators disaster
