Pros:
Good location. Very basic accommodations. Breakfast was adequate.
Cons:
Very limited staff on duty. We waited about five minutes to check in because no one was at the front desk. When the staff member did arrive, he was very short with us and made us feel like we were bothering him.
Our first room had no blackout curtains—only a thin blind—so light from a parking lot shined directly into the room all night. It felt like trying to sleep with the lights on. We requested a room change the next day. The young man at the desk that morning was very friendly and accommodating, much nicer than the gentleman the night before. The new room did have blackout curtains, but the TV didn’t work. It was inconvenient, but since we weren’t there to watch TV, we didn’t complain.
The advertised “free shuttle to parks” was very disappointing. Times were extremely limited (most routes ran only once a day), and service was not offered to the new Epic park at all. We tried using the shuttle our first morning. I made a reservation a day in advance as required and arrived at the pickup point 10 minutes early. We waited 30 minutes, called the number on the reservation (no answer), left a message, and never received a call back. After 40 minutes, we ended up calling a Lyft. Do not rely on this service!
