The View took us in during our evacuation from Hurricane Milton. We had our sentamental possessions, our dog, I was post op. They made us so comfortable and welcomed. They served a delicious breakfast even during the hurricane when it hit Orlando. The lights went our twice and the generators kicked in. The room was huge! We were able to stow all our posessions because of the thoughtful design. There were shelves under the windows to stack our stiff and the closet was huge. The The kitchenette was perfect....just a microwave and bigger refrig but was perfect to heat food when we could not leave the hotel due to weather. Thank you Gina and Johnathan for everything! Gona....you were so kind and compassionate! The dog loved it as well. Forgot to mention...engineered floors! No yuckie carpet!

When we first arrived we noticed the grounds were not clean but very dirty and extremely muddy under the carport of the entrance of the hotel and entrance was loaded with nasty cigarette butts all on the ground, the entrance floor was dirty and the mat at the entrance look like you hadnt and vacuumed and days. At the very least we were expecting to find the grounds clean and inviting and we actually were very disappointed with our findings. Very old furniture/Building needs a lot of work, dirty elevator and odor, and wet floor at hotel entrance and dirty floor for days. "Complimentary Breakfast"was very limited and staff was extremely slow and very rude and unfriendly. Lady's at front desk were very nice and helpful No restaurant. No dishes or utensils in kitchen. Emailed company addressed to owner expecting a personal reply from her and never did she or anyone else reply so I emailed her again and still am waiting. It's completely obvious that this lady owner cares nothing about good quality customer service and making their guests first priority. We are extremely disappointed. She should be making sure that the guests are being treated wonderful and are satisfied which obviously she failed us. Supposably they offered instant check communication but it wasn't instant at all, took hours if you were lucky to hear back from them and even days for them to respond. Definitely not good for business. Give a business offers a live chat they should reply to all chats right away.

The hotel was lovely and so was the breakfast. One staff member did stand out to our entire group. Her name is Gina. She was so kind to us, she was amazing. She deserves to run that hotel

Nina at the desk was very friendly and efficient that looked at your needs as everyone else. The breakfast service was amazing along with the breakfast menu. I definitely would stay here again and recommend anyone to do the same.

Worth it
Our stay was awesome, we were a little early but they got us in anyway the women at the front desk were so nice. The room was more than I expected, and the shower was amazing! Was it perfect? No, but, it was a nice place and the staff was so nice so yeah I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Oh and the breakfast was really good too and the wait staff were very nice.

The night receptionist was absolutely amazing, had a wonderful personality. The rooms can use a little TLC but the place was clean and that’s most important.. The breakfast was small but on pint with flavor. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this place.

limited lobby personnel. Non existent housekeeping, not once cleaned my room in a 3 nights stay. the worst was water in the room during hurricane Milton. Windows not sealed properly. Quite a bit of water pooled on the floor under the windows. needed towels and blankets to absorb it. They were soaking wet in the morning. Whoever came to pick up the towels and blankets (after request in the lobby), left the wet dirty blanket in the kitchen sink in the bedroom! Overall it was not a good experience in a very distressing moment. Expedia rating fooled me when choosing this place for Milton evacuation. not recommending it ever.

The property was decent for the price but is old and definitely needs a renovation. However, the staff was very nice. The front desk lady, Gina was awesome and very helpful and welcoming. The staff made the place worth booking despite its old appearance.

Lifesaver during Hurricane Milton
Unfortunately for us we had to evacuate due to Hurricane Milton rolling through Tampa. We knew going in that this hurricane was also going to hit Orlando. That was a given, it was meant to go directly across the state. The power stayed on for the most part during our stay, and on the off chance that it was going to go out they provided us with flashlights. They do have a backup generator, thankfully they didn't have to use it for very long because the power came back on the couple of times it flickered. The building is a little bit on the older side and it used to be a 55 and over community, so the windows are a little older and we had an issue with leaking. Unfortunately they ran out of towels which is honestly totally understandable. We managed. We had to extend our stay several times, the power was just not on at our home and we didn't want to struggle if we didn't have to. They were very accommodating, very pleasant. The team at the hotel is amazing, and even though it definitely is an older building they've done a very good job of working to renovate and turn this into hotel rooms. We got the suite, and our room was about 700 ft². Although we were there for not so awesome reasons, we will definitely be back. Everything was great, breakfast was great, the staff was great. I could not recommend this property more. Shout out to Natalie, and the girl who mans the overnight desk whose name I did not get. I appreciate both of you.

First of all we were there during a hurricane. The gentleman who served breakfast, the chef, the maintenance men and the woman who worked the desk and could also be found cleaning rooms were great, without them I can't imagine how the place could stay in business. Upon arrival we waited 20 minutes for someone to man the desk, she was upstairs doing something. Our room on the odd number side of the 4th floor was quite nice until I took my shoes off, the vinyl plank floor seemed damp. On the afternoon the hurricane was due to hit it was raining out and I had puddles in my room. Went to desk and they handed me a premade bag of rags/towels with a printout telling me to mop up floor. Odd, but I did it. During the night of the hurricane the puddles were so large they splashed when we walked. We complained and someone mopped floor, puddles reformed within 15 minutes. My husband is very unsteady and uses a cane so this was very stressful for us. At 12:15 am night of storm attendant is at my door collecting towels to dry so she can redeliver to me. The next day I went to the desk to complain and was told by the young lady at the desk that I could go elsewhere, she had absolutely no sympathy to our predicament. When I asked for manager she stated she was the manager. We had medical supplies delivered to the hotel, they were signed for but the 3 times we asked about the package were told it wasn't there. Breakfast was delicious!
