Other hotels should take note of The Leben!
We’ve travelled a fair bit, and for this price range and class of hotel, we felt The Leben was one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in by far. Spacious, modern, clean rooms. Large for Japan, including bathrooms with separate toilet and sink areas. Welcoming, friendly staff, large open free drinks reception area. Breakfast-box brought to your doorstep in the morning so you can eat in the privacy and comfort of your own room instead of having to avoid peak times at a breakfast buffet. It was relatively quiet up on the 12th floor where we stayed and a fantastic location in Osaka - walkable to the main shopping and food district areas. Perfect for us rounding off our honeymoon in Japan, we would have happily stayed here for a couple more days! It was so good, I started searching whether The Leben had any other branches in the world so to remember to stay there in future… (It doesn’t - it seems unique to Osaka). A fantastic hotel that has been very well thought out and in my radar forever. Perfect for those who value space and time to themselves for a romantic getaway, without breaking the budget. Well done.

The room is big and comfy, a rare find in Japan. The hotel is very generous in providing facial masks, eye masks, lip balm, facial serum and many more stuff at the lobby for their guests. These are placed in a box near the lift. Although others hotels in Japan do provide, The Leben has many more things rather than the basic items.

The Leben was a excellent hotel with the best service and top notch rooms. Front desk workers were so helpful! Had a great time in Osaka and it was a safe location and extremely walkable to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and so much more. Laundry on site too. Love the Leben

We enjoyed our stay a lot. We loved the whole interior design that felt very high end and welcoming. The rooms were also very nice and comfortable, loved the shampoos & conditioners as well as sleeping robe! I didn’t know that but our hotel room actually included breakfast that they serve into the room (they don’t have breakfast restaurant). One thing I didn’t like is that I felt the room was quite warm during the night and I could not find any settings to cool down if there was any… the room smelled a bit moldy which I think is not ideal for lungs well being. As far as location I really enjoyed everything was walkable : the downtown, many restaurants and coffee around including a few massage places.
