We loved the Koko hotel in Osaka!! The staff was SUPER helpful right off the bat. We arrived and I realized I left my kindle in the hotel in Kyoto. They helped me by calling the hotel and having it shipped there; it arrived the next day and only cost ¥400. Also, after we left we went to Okinawa for 6 nights, and only needed some of our luggage. The Koko hotel held onto our luggage while we were in Okinawa and then shipped it to the international hotel in Tokyo. By the time we were ready to leave, it was exactly where it was supposed to be at the hotel. The hotel is super close to public transportation options and also only a 12 minute walk to Dontonburi. There is a 7/11 and a family mart right next to the hotel, as well as other great restaurants. It was super easy to get to the metro/train/bus lines to go to places like Nara. The hotel was comfortable, more spacious than other places we stayed at, and very nice on both the inside and outside. Also it was super affordable! For 4 nights it was only $350 USD!
I like a good cup of coffee in the am. They offered a few pots help your self with packaged creamed. Most hotels in Japan offer the machine with different options, cappachino etc Food included with breakfast coupon was just ok. Would not go back for the breakfast option.

Liked: Room comfort
Corner rooms are great.
The corner room with twin beds was a lovely room. Bright and spacious. Then we had to change to a smaller twin bed room, called a honeymoon room which was a courtyard room. It was a very dark room.
The staff were pleasant and the location was great but the breakfast was very mediocre. Not worth the price.
I only gave 4 stars for the staff because they do not know how to communicate in English. For service, 4 stars also because it was very hot in our room even tho they said they “cleaned” our aircon.
Friendly check in speak English very helpful with directions
Clean and nice, stay before and will stay again

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Place was very fancy.
Amenity was plentiful.
Room was also nice.
Only complaint I have is that there was one point when the bidet stopped working and I was smelling sewage inside the whole bathroom, emitting odor strongly.
That lasted for about the whole night until the next morning but I was not sure what that was.
Very accessible and convenient location. Room with nice view and large enough to open two large suitcases. Amenities were good but they don’t provide free water. Staff was quick and attentive.
Super conveniently located for dining and shopping. Quiet and safe side street. Bathroom bigger than expected, double bed big enough for 2 slim people. Great to be able to store luggage after checking out.
Disliked the slightly stained bedsheets & blankets.
This was a vacation. This hotel was a bit compact but still fit two full size beds into a room. The best part of this hotel however, was the location. It was only about a 4 minute walk to Shinsaibashi station and just a few hundred feet from the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade which has everything you would need for entertainment, food and shopping
