The space
This large house has four charming bedrooms, a fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining and three sitting rooms. The kitchen includes an electric range cooker with two ovens, grill and induction hob, separate built in oven and grill, dishwasher, slow cooker and coffee machine. Complimentary tea, coffee , sugar, salt & pepper, oil, washing pods, ice, first nights logs, bath and shower gel provided for your stay.
The wood burner provides a cosy, relaxing atmosphere on dark winter nights. First nights logs provided then £10 per bag. Constant hot water and central heating are fuelled by a biomass system and Solar PV panels provide renewable energy.
Two fold up single beds with regular mattresses available for 2 extra guests at £20 per night per bed, making the total guest size 10. Travel cot, bedding, highchair and stairgate also available on request and lots of board games and books for children.
There are lots of country walks from your doorstep, including the Rhydycroesau Woodlands and the Oswestry Old Racecourse Common Heritage Site and Offa's Dyke. There are tourist information leaflets in the Farmhouse about many more places to visit. Oswestry 4.4 miles, Llangollen 13 miles, Welshpool 15 miles, Shrewsbury 17 miles and Chester 27 miles.
Bookings for Friday and Saturday nights, where you would like a later check out time on Sunday up to 5pm can be arranged at an additional fee. This offer is during low season only during November to April. Please ask for details.
Guest access
Sat Nav gets you to the house in about 10 minutes from Oswestry town. There is no public transport but there are several local taxi firms.
Other things to note
There is a small unfenced pond in the garden and children must be supervised at all times.
One well behaved medium sized dog allowed. Must be kept on a lead at all times outside as this is a working farm. Not allowed upstairs please. Walk in kennel available outside if required. £25 to be paid on arrival.
Continental breakfast and/or slow cooked home reared beef or lamb casserole can be provided for your stay. Other menu choices available. Please ask for details!
