Clean, close to station
Our room was larger than our other Japanese hotel experiences. It was clean and so close to the station that it is impossible to miss. Convenient grocery and take away options nearby, as well as restaurants. I was visiting family in Ishiyama, one JR stop away, which was very convenient.

I’ve stayed here countless times and usually it’s a great experience but this time was quite the exception. The staff at check-in (first time seeing this staff) was quite…rude or unfriendly for lack of a better word. No greeting upon check in (after saying checking in and giving my name), I hand my residence card (didn’t ask if it’s ok to make a copy like usual), the room was for two guests (one key this time), and didn’t even tell me the room number (just handed me the slip of paper). Room was clean but quite low water pressure, but the first time experiencing this as well, so perhaps just an older room.

APA is always a pleasant hotel to stay at!
I’ve stayed at another APA hotel in Kyoto. The staff and rooms are always a wonderful accommodation with friendly staff, clean rooms and great amenities. They’re always gonna be a choice of mines.

Great Hotel Near Station
APA HOTEL〈BIWAKO SETA-EKIMAE〉had great staff, some of which spoke English. The WIFI worked well, and the rooms were clean. The hotel is next to Seta station, it is also close to shopping and restaurants.

Convenient Hotel
The APA hotel was undergoing construction when I stayed, and you couldn’t notice. The rooms were clean, and comfortable. The WIFI works well and is available in all the rooms. The staff spoke English and were very nice.

Very convenient location -- right next to the train station. The staffs were very helpful. My friend needed to rent a wheelchair, and one of the staff went out of his way to find us a wheelchair rental nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

They changed the name of the hotel on the exact day I was to check in, so when I got there and saw a different name on the hotel that I thought was going the be the Seta Urban Hotel and saw that it said Apa Hotel instead I had to call the Hotel just to make sure it was the correct Hotel. Other than that the hotel is in a good location right in front of the train station and restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Parking is limited so you have to call the hotel before hand to reserve a parking spot if you are coming by car.

Nice hotel close to the JR station
I stayed at the hotel since the JR of local transportation service was stopped by strong raining. In spite of my sudden reservation via this Expedia system, the hotel people are kind and did prompt response for me. Also the cost was not expensive. It was nice.

Budget hotel with a lot of conveniences.
Appreciated the proximity to Kyoto without the high cost of Kyoto hotels. Also like the proximity of the Jr station right next to the hotel. Would stay here again.
