I stayed for 2 nights visiting from Toronto. I left 6am Sunday and about 6pm I realized I left a part for my CPAP machine in the room. I called the hotel asking if my son could pick it up and courier to me. I was told by the front office that she was not Housekeeping, and expect a call next day as they had left already. I woke up next day with a terrible headache as i had difficulty breathing without my CPAP machine. At around 10am I decided to call. I was informed by a rep that I needed to wait for 48hrs to get a response. My head was pounding all day, so at 2pm I called again as I couldnt imagine another night without the CPAP. Same response, I literally begged for help and asked for a manager. The agent said I am the manager and the policy is 48hrs. I explained this is medical so please help. She said the policy is 48hrs and theirs nothing she could do. I said to her, I understand the policy but this is a medical equipment and i can go to cardiac arrest while sleeping without this, she insisted 48hrs. I said i cant believe you. I asked for her name which she said was Kenny but didnt give her last name. I said if you are the manager and you show zero empathy then this is awful. I got the survey from Holiday Inn in my email and decided to do it, within 20 minutes after I got a call advising that they found the part. It was too late for same day courier so I bought a replacement part in Toronto $275. With so many options i wont be caught dead booking with Holiday Inn again!
