Outstanding in Oviedo
This condo is wonderful. It was spotlessly clean, was well stocked, and decorated beautifully. The neighborhood is vibrant with many restaurants to enjoy (we liked the Mona Lisa for a late night drink). You can walk to anywhere in the city. The best part of the condo though….. the owners! They met us, helped us park, brought up our luggage, made sure we were comfortable and happy. Incredible service. If you are looking for a great place in Oviedo, you found it!

Great location and nice apartment
This was a great place for us to stay to explore Oviedo. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and has a great terrace. The street is lively with many restaurants but the apartment is still quiet. Carmen sent her husband and son to meet us at the train station (which is very close by) and help us get to the apartment.

We liked everything at the property. It is centrally located and the streetwhere the property is located is full of restaurants and cafeterias. You can walk to most of the interesting places. We rented a car and the parking space was safe and near the property. The owners waited for us and gave information about interesting places to visit and eat.

Very Sweet Owner
We enjoyed our stay in Oviedo. The owner was very attentive when we checked in as well as patient and kind with our lack of Spanish. The apartment was an intriguing throwback to a more relaxed time and place. The neighborhood was fantastic with restaurants and bars throughout the area BUT it was a quiet location at night as well.

The flat is very clean and has everything you could need. The balcony was my favorite part because traveling with a toddler it’s nice to have outdoor space that is both beautiful and convenient. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

Great Location
Good communications, met at the parking garage in a street parallel to the flat and taken to the flat from there. Lovely well equipped flat with a spacious lounge/diner and two bedrooms. Kitchen had a good selection of the basics to use but we did replace the beer we drank. Nice balcony which we only managed to use for an hour as the weather was poor. The flat is on the sixth floor above a really busy pedestrian street full of bars and restaurants. We had no noise issues at all. The only downside is the heating in the flat is provided centrally and goes off on the 1st May. We were there in late May and it was chilly. if you leave before 11:00 you can bring the car round to the flat to load up.

Great service and great location
We enjoyed our stay very much and the host family was very helpful. Parking is an issue in the city and they provide a spot in an underground garage one street over. It was a bit hard to get to initially with the apartment being on one street and the parking on the other and both streets being one way. The terrace is definitely a plus. Even though they allow smoking and I was worried about the potential smell, there was no evidence of smoking in the apartment. It was very clean with everything we needed including some food items that our host had for us at the apartment. Nice stay.

Great apartment in an ideal location
My husband and I spent 4 nights in this lovely apartment. The location is superb for exploring Oviedo...sites are with in walking distance, restaurants and shops nearby. It is also great for access to the train and bus station to visit other areas. We hired a car so the secure parking in the nearby garage that comes with the apartment was a bonus. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Perhaps the most memorable thing about this apartment and our stay was the delightful hosts. Carmel’s husband and son (who speaks very good English) met us at the train station to escort us to the apartment; they provided detailed information about the apartment and the area (including what/where to eat to sample local foods) and had stocked the apartment with ample provisions for breakfast on the terrace the next morning ...and beer to enjoy as we unpacked and settled in for our stay!

Lovely apartment in great location
A friend and I just spent 3 nights in this lovely apartment. The owners Carmen and Gil,and their son, were helpful from the start. They met us at the bus station ( only 5 minutes to the apartment), and explained all the runnings to us. The apartment was clean and cosy. Everything worked well, and there were absolutely no issues. The location is brilliant ; Close to the Old Town, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future. Perfect location, ideal apartment, garage parking for our motorcycle.
Met by Carmen and her family, so no issues finding the garage and apartment. The fridge was filled with essentials, which was great as Sundays all supermarkets close. Downstairs at street level, there are so many restaurants and bars, and the old town is within walking distance. We used the apartment as a base for touring Northern Spain, including the Picos de Europa, so access from Oviedo is no issue. We used the train which is 5 minutes walk to get to other places, so I could have a beer and a break from driving. Would we stay again at this property, absolutely.

Great location , walking distance to all the main sights in the older part of the city. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Carmen, and her husband and son were very welcoming and helpful. They had left all sorts of food and drink and provided massive amounts of information about the city and surroundings. And there is a parking space in a nearby secure garage - a huge benefit. Orviedo is a lovely city with lots to see and this apartment makes a visit even better.

! Excellent Apartment / Excellent Location / Awesome Host !
This is the place! Yep, you can stop looking .. just book this one. the location is perfect ... you can walk to almost all the Oviedo has to see and do .. it;'ll take you three or four days to see it all, but best part is it's all right out the door.. some say Oviedo is the most beautiful Spanish city - we agree! The apartment is up on top so the balcony views are great, the street noise is not a factor - sleep with the windows open . Right downstairs, on this same street are some great restaurants, grocery down one block .. nice kitchen in apartment so easy to prepare a meal or snack to enjoy on the balcony. comfortable beds, plenty large enough bathroom . very nice / secure building / elevator for fast/easy access to your top floor penthouse. and Carmen is awesome! quick with any answer, very helpful. Wish I could rate it 6 stars. We went on to visit 5 other Spanish cities on this trip .. this Carmen's Oviedo VRBO was by far the best and our most favorite... you'll love it here!

Comfortable apartment
The apartment is located in a central position ,close to the railway and bus stations ,restaurants and grocery shops. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet at night. The living room has a comfortable sofa and chair, coffee table a large smart TV and Wifi. We enjoyed having breakfast in the roof terrace when the sun was shining. Being on the 6th floor we were not disturbed by the noise from the street . The kitchen is well equipped but could do with a kettle. We boiled water in a saucepan to make tea. The owners Carmen and Gil were very helpful and provided essential provisions milk, coffee, bread and even a complimentary bottle of wine. We are particularly grateful to them for meeting us at the airport since we arrived late in the evening and we did not speak Spanish. Their son is fluent in English and was able to communicate with us. We are very happy to recommend the penthouse. Louis and Enid
