It is worth noting that we have mobility issues, requiring a walker, and the Courtyard Glasgow Airport accommodated us wonderfully. The room, while a long walk from the lobby, was on the first floor, and had the space and design to accommodate us and our device. The dining area, used for both dinner and breakfast, had the room to move around, and to have a place to put the walker so it was out of the way. The staff was continuously friendly and helpful, in-particular when we first arrived, earlier than the official check-in time. They had our room ready, got us checked-in, helped us get our bags from the rental car to the room, and then gave us a validation to waive any parking fees so we could drive away again, to do last minute shopping in Glasgow and then return the rental. About the only thing of significance within walking distance was the airport, but that is exactly why we picked them, so it was not an issue. We spent two nights with them, relaxing from a busy trip, and giving us a whole day to pack and re-pack for our flight home. For making that short time comfortable warrants recommending them, at least for that kind of reason. A minor criticism is NOT directed at the hotel, but the airport, in that the cab we hired was not allowed to stop at the curbside entrance to the airport, but instead in the parking structure across the street. A short walk, but if the traveler has mobility issues, be aware of this detail.
