We didn’t have to pay resort fee (as expected with research on cost) but they hit us with a $20 parking fee instead. Ridiculous to pay for a room and then have to pay to park as well. I hate hidden fees. Would have chosen a different hotel as many were available (December) for the same cost but no hidden fees

Fabulous hotel right on the beach. Clean, well stocked, ice cold AC (if you want it), comfy beds. Rooms are very big. Good breakfast, lots of choices. Note that parking is now $20/night plus tax and fees. Not a bad price for beachfront, but you don’t know about the parking fee when you book on Expedia. If you’re a Hyatt member, they give you water bottles when you check in.

We have never stayed at a Hyatt property. This place was designed perfectly for the Panama City Beach location. Excellent room design with the very high ceilings. The staff were an asset. The price for a night stay was reasonable for the location. We'll be looking for an opportunity to return.

Staff were great. Room was wonderful. Plenty of comfortable places inside and out to relax and see the ocean. Breakfast was really good. We checked in at a slower time off season so there was only a short wait at a very small desk, but in peak season the unload/check-in/park the car parts must be less than smooth and simple. Not sure I’d even want to attempt it.

Great room over looking the water. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of options. Seating was a little crowded at times. Which we were there over a holiday. Checking into the hotel was a little awkward as they have a single lane drive-through circle drive at the front doors. Folks didn't know which way to go and didn’t pull all the way up to allow others to enter. The parking garage is across the street with a daily parking rate.
