Fall break vacation
We spent a week in this property with our family of 7. We checked in on Saturday. After our first day at the beach, we realized the washer was not working. I called the on call number. I was told it was reported to maintenance. For days, no one could give me an update on when the washer would even be looked at. I left messages/emails for managers Elizabeth and Jon- no response. I finally spoke to James on Tuesday, he got the appliance repair person there . The repair man got the washer going . It worked for a day and half and stopped working again. I spoke to James again who was very kind , but explained no one was available to fix the washer until the following Wednesday. He was kind and tried to accommodate. They did bring towels ( no washcloths) on two occasions, but it was not enough with seven people going to the beach everyday. If you need a working washer, this is not the condo for you. The room was in need of updates, TLC, and a good deep clean . The large heavy outdoor furniture was stored in the unit. It was a challenge getting it out onto the balcony. The toilets and tubs need a good deep clean and updates. I hope that you all will take this review and make improvements in the unit for future guests.

1/2 Shower door was missing in master bath. Had to be careful getting out of shower b/c floors would get wet. Notified both owner and management company, said they would send someone from their “team” & no one ever showed up. Drawers in kitchen and baths had no liners and were chipping and worn. Kitchen cookware was rusted (could not use). Plates and silverware were sparse and a hodgepodge. Couldn’t use iron either b/c of rust stains on it as well. Clock on wall did not work nor did some of the lamps. Furniture was lumpy & uncomfortable. Shower stall insert was cracked. Refrigerator was missing drawers and bins for storage. Curtains could not be opened all the way in the living room, so obstructed view of beach/ocean. Just a second class rate unit. Owners are apparently more worried about guests stealing from them than they are about providing a nice place to stay. Very tacky plaque hung by the front door reminding guests not to steal anything from the unit. Some people just shouldn’t be landlords ….. Needless to say, don’t waste your hard earned money on renting this unit.

Outdated/dirty condo
Let me start by saying the resort itself was great. It was clean, the pool area was relaxing and clean. The snack bar had good food and service. Now, the actual condo was not as nice as the pictures portrayed. The room had a major nat problem. We couldn’t even eat in there it was so bad. They were in every room . The longer you looked around the worse it got. That room has not had a good cleaning in quite some time. It definitely needs a lot of TLC. The resort is a great place to stay, just don’t stay in this room 2203 because you can get nicer and cleaner for your money.

Great Stay
The property was extremely clean whenever we arrived. The location is great, and the elevators were very fast. The balcony had beautiful views of the beach. The pool and hot tubs were also very nice. The heated pool was great since we stayed in March. One thing that was missing was the curtains for the twin hideaway beds. We told the property owner the first day, and they never brought replacements for us or offered an alternative. There was also a large outdoor table that was between the couch and the dining table. It didn’t bother us, but it was too big for us to move outside. Overall, our stay was great, and we would stay again!

Stayed for a week; It did smell odd when we arrived, like someone had used a dirty mop with beach to clean and there was still dirt on the floor. The condo was right on the beach, 22nd floor so that took a little bit of getting used to, but overall a good experience! Great beach view with open pool, gated pool and parking garage, and the location is close to food, Walmart, and many other amenities you might need! Thank you for letting us stay!

The location of the property was top notch. The unit itself was not clean. The floors were very dirty, the bedspread had stains on it, the tub and shower doors were not clean. We made the best of it. Will stay at that complex again but will try a different unit.

Dirty, Dirty, dirty
1st I want to say that for 7 people (4 adults, 3 kids) the space was adequate. Our issue was with the condition and cleanliness of this condo. It was NASTY. The floor made our feet black in minutes. Kitchen wasn't clean, hairs in drawers, moldy coffee in the coffee pot...I could go on! I emailed the management company and the best reply (hours later) was asking if someone should come touch up! It needed cleaned, not touched up! We literally had to clean it ourselves! I asked for a refund for having to do the cleaning ourselves. No reply! Next issue was Condition...the play had holes in bathtub wall, baseboards were blackened, parts of the refrigerator was cracked/broken or missing. In my email to the company I added pictures! Overall, we will never rent through this rental company again. If we stay at the Gulf Crest again we will go a different route. I give this 1 star if that!

Beautiful view! Extremely nice place, just needs a little extra cleaning.
You couldn't beat the view! It was absolutely one of our favorite places that we had ever stayed as far as the view and the condo has one of the biggest balconies ever. Our check in wasn't difficult, it was just that the printer was out of ink to print out our parking passes so we were unsure about our vehicle being towed because you couldn't speak to anyone. We just hoped for the best and it was all taken care of the next morning and thankfully our vehicle wasn't towed. I drive a chevy tahoe and the parking spot that we were assigned was right along the wall and I couldn't even park there because it was an extremely tight fit. We parked on the roof when we couldn't get lucky enough to grab one of the other spots that was unmarked. We survived and really no complaints other than the whole assigned parking is a bit crazy when you can't squeeze your oversized vehicle beside another oversized vehicle. We had an issue with the air being on lock mode and had to call and get someone to come look at it, it was fixed right away. We were thankful. The condo still had some lingering sand in the floor but, it's completely understandable. You are at the beach and sand can't be helped. I just make a suggestion of more rugs in the place so that hopefully you can get more of it off before entering the condo. I believe that it would be helpful and be beneficial for the cleaning ladies. If you don't want to do laundry every couple of days, you will need to take extra towels. I do laundry so, that didn't bother me. The kitchen supplies could really use an upgrade. The pots and pans are worn out and the knives are terrible. I know many spend their time going out to eat and don't really use anything in the kitchen but, we like to cook. We survived and made do and I know that it is hard to keep all of that stuff continuously looking new. We did have a really nice time and we would stay here again. Everyone should at least give it a try and form their own opinions. Thank you for a nice place to stay, we are looking forward to next year!

Great location, close to water, elevators awesome, fast, Floors needed to be mopped! The condo is an awesome layout, plenty of room, loved the balcony, the only issues were with the cleaners not the condo or location. The mater bed and bath are nice …amenities are good Would stay again

We had a great time. The condo could use a little update with the shower/tubs the sliding doors kept getting off track. The kitchen sink has a small leak, and the soap dispenser is broke. The cleaning crew is horrible so be prepared to do some cleaning before you settle in. Condo was very spacious and the balcony is huge which we loved. Over all for the price I would rent again

Great location and amenities- condo needs attention
We stay at Gulf Crest frequently and had never had so many issues with the condo. First, the hot water heater needed replaced and was leaking when we arrived. We had to turn off the water completely until the water heater was replaced the next day. There were a number of other items that needed attention: the floors were so dirty that the kids feet were black after only a few minutes, one ceiling light bulb needed replaced as it was strobe-flashing, the ceiling fan in master bedroom was making a winding noise, and there were bugs in the kitchen we discovered when we arrived back at condo and turned on the light. There were some other annoyances such as only 2 drinking glasses, not enough flatware, and a leaky kitchen faucet. We were disappointed with the number of issues we had and we were not offered a discount for our stay or anything. Seemed this would be warranted since it was like we were “camping”. All of our other stays/condos were much better maintained and stocked for guests.

Not the worst place I have stayed
Great location and elevators are super fast. Condo does need new couch and better housekeeping. Balcony is very spacious. Guest bedroom does have a very sqeaky bed. Master bathroom sinks did not work properly. Only cold one sink and hot the other. And every faucet in the condo leaks. Overall I would stay again. Did enjoy having the two beach chairs and umbrella. Pools were nice as well and nice to have Tiki bar.

We were in awe of the size of the condo. It was beautiful and perfect. It was exactly as it was listed. Convenient to everything around town. My Experience
This is not to bash the complex at all. Our unit had almost no cookware and only 2 towels for all 8 of us. I enjoyed the stay and the complex in general but was very disappointed in the unit we stayed in.

Views/location make up for the shortcomings
This condo is absolutely gorgeous. The entire condominium is beautiful and very nice. The gated property and security gave us an added sense of security and the access to the beach was perfect. The floors as stated in previous reviews were definitely in need of cleaning, my four year and one year old constantly had solid black feet. The thermostat wouldn’t turn below 70 which made it a bit uncomfortable at night. However, the view and beach access really was amazing. All in all, it was well worth the price and we enjoyed our stay.

Needs a LOT of maintenance & repairs
The first thing I noticed upon arrival on Saturday 4/24/2021, is that the unit does not have a keypad lock, as stated in description. It has a lockbox with keys inside. Then we noticed the bathtub in 2nd bath had water standing in it about 4 inches deep, and the faucet had a constant drip. Apparently the cleaners had left the stopper down in the tub and water that was dripping could not drain. However, the water would not have gotten that deep in just a few hours. So not sure when it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. Next I noticed the toilet in the master bath would not stop running after being flushed. I had to stick my hand in the tank and get the stopper in the right place so the tank would refill. We arrived on Saturday evening and I reported these things on Sunday, knowing I likely wouldn't hear from anyone until at least Monday. Then by Monday we had also realized that the icemaker also did not work. Someone from the management company showed up at the door on Tuesday, with no advance notice. Luckily my husband was still in the unit, and went thru with this person as he made note of all items, turned the water off on the master bath toilet and told my husband a plumber would be scheduled for repair of the toilet and icemaker. On Wednesday afternoon after not hearing back from anyone, I sent a message asking about the plumber. I got a response saying they would check with maintenance and get back with me. That was the last I heard from anyone. And we left on Saturday morning, 5/1/2021. During our stay we only had use of one toilet. We had to purchase bags of ice since icemaker did not work. Also, the sofa has rips in the fabric and seems dirty,, the carpet in master closet is filthy and seemed like it had not even been vacuumed in quite some time. Almost every faucet either leaks at the base or has a constant drip. The sliding shower door in master bath does not fit on the track properly. And the hand held can opener in the kitchen does not work. This could be a great unit with these simple repairs, a fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning. As for my stay, I definitely do not feel that the description of the unit is accurate and I did not get what I paid for. I also think it was very unprofessional that no one followed up with me. I cannot recommend this unit and will not stay there again.

Missed the mark
Once we arrived we regretted it immediately. Condo was not clean AT ALL!! The couch should of been replaced years ago. I went straight to Walmart and purchased new bedding, sheets for couch, and cleaning products. I even had to purchase a dustpan. Had a broom but no dustpan. Had a mop that I wouldn't mop my outside deck with so I also purchased a new mop. $150 later I came back and cleaned till 2 am to make it livable for my family. I put sheets all over the couch just so it could be sat on. I understand wear and tear but it was beyond that. While cleaning I moved the couch back to sweep and mop. The amount of sand under there could of filled a gallon jug. We have staying in PCB 3 or 4 times a year for 20 years. Never have I had a condo this dirty and hardly any plates, cups, towels, etc. Whatever cleaning company that is used needs to be fired. First thing that needs to happen is a deep clean, new couch, new bedding, and hire a new cleaning company.
