The front desk personnel were friendly, polite and inviting. In fact every staff we interfaced with were very polite, helpful and efficient. The room was clean, fresh smelling and comfortable. Housekeeping was daily. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and abundance of the breakfast; there was something for every palate. Overall I was pleased and will recommend it to friends and family.

I enjoyed my stay @ Riu Plaza Panama. I was greeted to an impressive, relaxing lounge by friendly & helpful staff. My check-in was in the evening & I was relieved that the hotel had multiple restaurants on site; providing me with various options to choose from. The food @ "Tastes Restaurant " was appetizing & delicious. There was also a 24-hour snack shop serving coffee, tea, sandwiches, pastries, etc; which was very convenient for those late night snacks. The all-inclusive breakfast buffet @ "Restaurant Arts" served an expansive array of tasty dishes. The room my family & I stayed in was appropriately furnished, clean & comfortable. However, an in-room microwave would have been an added bonus. Overall, I had a lovely experience & would stay @ the hotel again.

I really enjoy staying at the RIU, however my wife and a couple of other patrons were complaining about the damp odor smell we encountered in the halls and rooms this time. The breakfast and everything else was on point. It's time they replace the carpet throughout the hotel. The breakfast is really a much added bonus.Males don't smell as well as females. I am a RIU card member but I book it cheaper with you guys in Panama...

Great hotel for the price. Nice pool and the included breakfast was a plus. It was clean and staff was nice except for the service desk who appeared to be annoyed with me asking for wash cloths everyday since they failed at leaving any or not enough for me and my daughter. Other than that I had no complaints. You do need transportation as there is very limited things around hotel other than some restaurants that are walkable and a few stores.
