We stayed at Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo for the final leg of our honeymoon, and it was truly the best experience of our lives. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, with thoughtful touches and gifts celebrating our honeymoon. The butler service for our suite was one of the highlights, especially the romantic bath preparations and the flawless turndown service. It felt like every detail was taken care of with such care and elegance. The hotel itself is steeped in history, and staying in a historic building added so much charm to our experience. The complimentary daily history tour and traditional dance performance were unique and memorable touches that added to the cultural richness of our stay. We also took advantage of the luxurious spa, which was an oasis of relaxation, and the food was absolutely divine. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the old town of Casco Viejo and the sights of the canal are only a short car ride away. Every meal was a delight, from breakfast to dinner. But what truly made our stay remarkable was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, making us feel like royalty. We can’t recommend Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo enough—it made our honeymoon a dream come true!

This hotel is fabulous! It is well located in a safe area with a lot of shopping, restaurants and historic sites nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. No question went unanswered. The property is spotless and extremely well maintained! The meals we had at the restaurants were fantastic. We booked tours through the concierge and went with their recommendations and were not disappointed. Guillermo checked us into the hotel and said we were the customers of the day which included a room upgrade . When we got to our room, there was a lovely assortment of fruit waiting for us. He would always check on us whenever he saw us and made sure we had everything we needed. It really meant a lot and you could tell he was very genuine. We appreciated all of the staff and their pleasantness. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I would highly recommend it. I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying their stay. I really can’t say enough about it!!

When you first arrive they treat you like royalty... all the way up to the time for you to check out. The customer service is beyond anything that I've ever experienced before and they make you want to come back. The facility itself is immaculate. If you're fortunate enough to book a room with the balcony and the view of the ocean it is spectacular to just sit out there first thing in the morning and have a cup of coffee and listen to the waves.

Other than the garage at the shoreline (a common theme in Panama City) there is nothing bad to say about this property, staff, and service. It was like stepping back in time to a refined era where everyone is smiling, no is not in the vocabulary, and folks are truly happy to serve. More on the expensive side, but very well worth it!

This was my first time staying at a Sofitel and I absolutely loved it! The staff's exceptional service made my stay memorable. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were pleased with our stay. I had an issue with drawing a bath and since they couldn't provide that service, they gave us a bottle of champagne. I had also inquired about getting the best coffee. The day before departing, the staff presented me with a lovely package of different coffees and photos to memorialize the moment. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again when visiting Panama.
