Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Crayon Rouge! The decor was everything!!! This place is an art, vintage, and literary lover’s dream. The staff was very nice and helpful with recommendations. Everything was clean and tidy, and felt very safe walking to and from the hotel. You can also leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out if you’d like to explore Paris before departing. It’s a short walk (10-20 min) to the Louvre, Musée de L’Orangerie, and Musée D’Orsay. About the same distance on the metro to some really fun thrift stores in Marais. I got around and back quickly and safely as a solo traveler. It’s in front of the Banque de France so it’s pretty quiet at night, perfect for myself since my room was on the second floor. I slept like a baby.

What a great boutique hotel in the 1re arrondissement. Very clean hotel and rooms. Room is creatively decorated, clean, and well-stocked bathroom with l’Occitane products. Staff is so friendly and helpful! Hotel is in great location, walkable to dining options (even late night options), public transportation, shopping, and touristy areas! I would definitely stay here again. A À la prochaine!!

Great little hotel, the room actually looks better in person than it does in the pictures! Room was lovely and the bathroom was especially great. The staff were extremely attentive and Didier was especially kind and helpful to book our transport to the airport. He then made the necessary arrangements for the transfer to pick us up later so we could walk and enjoy the neighbourhood when our flight was delayed by a few hours.

Small rooms within walking distance of major tourist attractions such as the Louvre and Notre Dame. And if you’re up for walking a bit more you can of course also walk to the Eiffel tower and take the metro back.

This is an adorable niche hotel. Our room was so cute! However, the smell from the shower drain was really noxious……… we had to cover it with a folded towel. Their breakfast pretty so so……. Only eggs are hard boiled and green. Nice staff though. Our room really cold. Cute but would not stay again.
