The location, the highlight of this hotel. I booked with anticipation as the Olympics approached, so, my fare at the moment was actually double that the actual fare now. During the Games, a majority of hotels were not fully booked, probably due by the hefty fare increase. Considering the standards for accommodation in Paris, our small room was acceptable. The breakfast was offered for a fee. we tried once but was poor variety for the price. Find out that just two blocks ahead, a Pret a Mangler offered excellent options for breakfast at half the price.
In general, due that Metro Line 1 station Louvre Rivoli is just a 4 block walking and the heavy connected Chatelet Les Halles even closer, the hotel will be our first choice when we return to Paris in the near future. A lot of good ambience, stores and good restaurants along the Rue Saint Honoré, makes this hotel very attractive.
