Lovely apartment in the Marais
This was a pleasant apartment in an older building on a bustling street in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris. It's on the fourth floor, but there's a small elevator, which you don't always find in Paris apartment buildings. The owners are clearly photographers and the apartment is decorated with dozens of their very interesting photos from around the world. Lots of books to read (in French), a very homey place. The kitchen had everything we needed. The description on VRBO is a little inaccurate. It claims 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Actually, there is one full bed and a sleeper sofa, which is quite comfortable. But there is only a bath and a half. One bathroom has a sink, shower and bidet. The other half bath is down the hall and only is a toilet stall, with no sink. You have to walk back to the other bathroom to wash your hands. We made it work, but I would recommend clarity in the description so other guests are not disappointed. Overall, we enjoyed a nice stay and there are plenty of good restaurants in this walkable neighborhood.

Wonderful place to stay
Perfect location, large, light and airy. 2 seperate bedrooms (1 with a comfortable sofa) and additional large living/ dining room in the heart of Paris: on the mail line to all the attractions! Just perfect!

Great location, not a great property
The description of this property was very inaccurate. First, there are not three bathrooms. Really, there is just one, split up between two non-adjacent rooms. There's a bathroom with everything but a toilet, and then two doors down, there is a tiny, public restroom stall size WC with just a toilet and no sink. So in other words, you go to the bathroom and then walk down the hall to go in the other bathroom to wash your hands. It claims to be non-smoking, but the scent of stale cigarette smoke was in the air. There is supposed to be a double bed, but there is actually just two tiny beds pushed together to make one bed and no effort made to have them feel like one bed (e.g., no pillow top), so you have a large crease in the middle between the mattresses. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and I had a lot of trouble sleeping and woke up everyday with neck and back pain. I informed the property management company, who took a long time to get back to me and offered nothing more than sorry, this is what all the beds are like. The setup of the shower and the wonky showerhead meant a pond of water on the floor after every shower. Property management company was hard to get ahold of and did not resolve any of the problems I had with the apartment. Checkout was at 10, with a checkout person coming at 9:30, but at 8:30 without warning they sent over someone to make some repairs to a drawer. I was very disappointed and would never stay here again.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location
Overall this was a great place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and thank heavens it had fans for both bedrooms because we were in the middle of a heat wave! The only "glitch" was upon check in when we went to pickup the key. The wrong lockbox number was given and thankfully people were still working upstairs in the office so we could get the problem taken care of.
