The hotel is right at the top of the Stelvio Passo and offers an excellent base to explore in both summer and winter seasons. I was there in September and the region was very busy with hikers, cyclists, drivers etc and the hotel was an excellent base. The reception staff were very helpful and the beds basic but comfortable

Enjoyed the room, staff. Dinner pasta really good. Breakfast was basic, but good. Amazing scenery out our door. Poor and gym are excellent relative to other places. Note: Few guests there during our stay.

Every inch the classic '80s ski hotel. Warm, comfy and well equipped. Great tasting food (of course, this is Italy). Staff speak Italian , German and English.

Ski lodge at 9100foot Stelvio PSs
Stelvio Pass is a spectacular high alpine area for hiking, biking and skiing. Pirovano Hotel is classic ski lodge type hotel.

Hotel hasn't changed since the 70s
Room was cramped, old and uncomfortable. Food was an absolute rip off and disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a good location, rooms are very similar to a lodge style, dark and dull but if your staying just for a rest stop I guess it does not matter. Be careful with the meals, and ask for full explanation to what your paying for, a bowl of plain pasta for 22euro is not a nice bill to pay for. Overall stayed in worse so enjoy.

The hotel is in a great location for the pass. The local restaurants are great. the breakfast was perfect. We didn't get to use the pool, it was a challenge to get to. The family room was perfect for 4 with motorcycle gear. We will return.

We spent the night. The hotel isn't very modern, but it's comfortable and secure. Most of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I do recommend this hotel, and I would come back!

Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr altmodische und teilweise defekt oder ausserbetrieb. Am Zimmer hat mich das Fenster (nicht kiebbar) und das Fenster zum Gang mit Licht die ganze Nacht gestört und ich konnte deswegen nicht richtig schlafen.

Sjarmerende hotell med god service.
Fin beliggenhet på toppen av Stelvio. God service. Gammel standard på stort sett alt av byggverk på hotellet. Her er ingenting pusset opp siden 80-tallet.

Forferdelig. På nettsiden står det at det er basseng, sauna, boblebad (spa-avdeling) og spillerom. Det var IKKE noen av delene som var i bruk. Resepsjonisten sa at det va 4 dager siden det oppsto en feil i bassenget så det va dessverre stengt. Den forklaringen må være en stor løgn da bassenget var tomt for vann og grønt. Totalt mangel på lydisolering mellom rommene da vi hørte naboene sine samtaler som om de satt bak en gardin. Frokosten var ikke i nærheten av det bildene viser, langt derifra. Rommet var ikke vasket, kun overfladisk. Kun et lys i rommet fungerte.
