Helen is a lovely host! The hotel is an easy walk to town and the esplanade, but feels quiet and away from the bustle. The bathrooms were small and quirky, but very well maintained with good showers. We were two couples, and both bedrooms were a decent size with plenty of dresser space to unpack into. I would recommend staying here for a relaxing, quiet getaway!

Overrated! No shampoo and boy wash provided! Shower was the worst! Breakfast was good,
A very good guest house in a quiet street a short walk from Tenby town centre, harbour and beaches. The owners are very helpful and friendly and I was even driven to the station at the end of my stay because I'd gone to Caldey Island for the day (leaving my luggage at the Hotel) but the boat back was delayed, leaving me not much time to catch my onward train. I stayed three nights in a double room on the first floor at the front of the Hotel, facing the street, but it is a very quiet street and noise was not a problem.
Helen Rooney the owner offers an exceptionally well run hotel in a great location. Adhering to individual needs such as late arrival and food intolerance. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family run and family friendly hotel.
Got a call the day before my check in to find out my time of arrival.
Picked up at the railway station.
My room was first rate.
Helpful and friendly. No complaints at all.
Very friendly staff. Good location. Breakfast was nice & I liked the fact you got what you asked for. Room was comfortable and clean however the bathroom was a little on the small side.
We would stay here again.
If you're looking for a modern B&B then this isnt the place for you...But if you're wanting a great welcome, clean, comfy bed and somewhere in a good location then I would recommend the Gumfreston
We stayed for 11 days and were very happy with it. We were upgraded to the next door cottage when it became vacant. With three bedrooms, a bath and a half, living room, dining room and kitchen, it was very comfortable. Breakfast is cooked to order and very good. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the Wi-Fi worked well.
Had To wait an hour in the street To Have the Keys as Nobody was at the reception - the number given in that case was going straight To voice mail.
The room is Tiny And the bathroom even worse.
You Have half an hour To go for breakfast.
Not the best but they tried to make me comfortable
Room very much in need of modernisation. Sink tiny - water went everywhere when you used it - couldn't get kettle under to fill (had to use beaker. Had problems with tv reception but that was rectified but I was without tv for a while. I couldn't get window to close. Breakfast average.
A good location close to the south beach, the room was clean and a good size. Only draw backs were that the furniture was a bit worn although his didn't bother us for the few nights we stayed. Breakfast was delicious and the staff polite. We would recommend if you're looking for a peaceful stay in a cosy clean b & b!
Lovely BnB run by a very nice family. The hotel is situated in a perfect location for access to the beaches, town centre, fort, trips to Cauldy Island and bus route to Heatherton. The room was good value for the price and th breakfast was excellent. The hotel had everything you needed and I would stay there again : )
Stayed last minute for one night only and really enjoyed the hotel. The hotel is privately owned by a lovely friendly owner who made us feel very welcome. The exterior of the hotel doesn't look very inviting but the rooms were very clean and comfy. There's free parking outside if you can find a space or it costs £7 pday at the end of the road. Tenby centre is within a 1 - 2 min walk and so is the beautiful harbour & beach. WiFi wouldn't work but who needs it when you have the superb sights of Tenby to explore.
The guest house is situated a few streets back from both Tenby beach and the Town. There are 2 car parks within close proximity to the guest house The owner Helen, is very welcoming and the breakfast at the guest house is excellent.
