I stayed in my way to hospital in Liverpool poor set up for disabled didn’t get disabled room I had booked the beds were so high up it was difficult to get on and I am 5ft 8in And the room lighting was dim The biggest issue for me was the state of the parking for disabled no clearing of snow so unsafe to get out of car should have been gritted and cleared very poor and disappointing Couldn’t get to room without going through 3 sets of doors which I couldn’t open my self Sadly I wouldn’t stay again however we found the staff very helpful and lovely

Overall cleanliness good. The room was really cold when we arrived, heating set at 16.5 degrees and although we raised the temp on the thermostat, the room was preset wt 16.5 again the following evening. The beds and furniture were great. Our kettle was missing, some of the dispensers in the bathroom were empty and the windows were quite drafty. Staff were very helpful. Didn’t use the facilities but what we saw looked well managed

Matthew was on Reception again this Christmas when I arrived on Christmas Eve - he was so kind and helpful to me, as I was in a complete state having left my case in London!! Great service from him and the room service chap. Im afraid i left without tipping, to my regret. I hope to see you again next Christmas (in a calmer state!) when i will rectify.

I’ve stayed here many times over the years, but the overall experience seems to get a little worse every time. The room I was first given smelt horrendously of sick. The type of sick smell when someone has drank too much. I went to reception to ask for a change. The receptionist was very pleasant and prompt in swapping my room, but said “oh we had a big Christmas party last night”….. This is no excuse. In my second room there was a finger nail by the sink. If was very obvious! The curtains didn’t close and the carpet was dirty.

Rooms are really good, very clean and tidy. No pool, Gym at the hotel need to relay on club next to hotel however most of club facilities are down until spring. If you opt dinner there is a small menu to choose from. Overall okay to stay. Few room have windows facing a heritage museum with old Aeroplanes can be viewed.
