Channel View's excellent seafront location boasts fantastic sea views across to the harbour, Mounts bay and the magical St Michaels Mount with it's medieval castle. The home is a short level stroll to the harbour and excellent travel links of this lively coastal resort. Many shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs and supermarkets are within a short distance of the property. The wider local area is easy to travel to as train, bus, ferry or helicopter links are all within walking distance. With numerous local beaches, bays, coves, megalithic sites, small towns and villages to explore or the Isles of Scilly if you are more adventurous! The apartment was refurbished to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything you would expect in this home away from home!

This ground floor apartment boasts 2 bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin plus an extra foldout guest bed, Living room with TV, Hifi & DVD, Dining area, Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with washer-dryer, enclosed courtyard, Shared front sea view picnic area.

No parking on the property - There is on street parking which is sometimes hard to find but normally there will be a space somewhere nearby.

No stairs - You could stay on the level you enter the building but steps are required to enter. Entry via the rear could be arranged for step free entry.

Brilliant Location
This apartment is well situated for the train and bus station which enables you to travel round the area easily. Wonderful view from the front window to St Michaels Mount and is very clean and has everything you need. Would highly recommend it.

CHANNEL VIEW, PENZANCE
My two daughters and I chose Channel View for the lovely sea view and we weren't disappointed. We had the Ground Floor apartment, which was equipped for four with one large double-bedded room and one twin-bedded. The lounge, kitchen and bathroom were very modern and well-equipped. Whilst there is no specific parking space, my daughter always found a gap in one of the side roads so no problem. Touring from Penzance is easy with a local map and we had a lovely week touring around the beaches, especially liking Praa Sands, Sennen Cove and St. Ives. We also visited Falmouth, The Lizard and Lands End, where we enjoyed the music and fireworks display (every Tuesday and Thursday night). Penlee Gardens, Penzance, have an outdoor theatre with a wide variety of entertainment throughout the season. Last but not least, you will like the nice owner - Simon - who is very helpful and easily contactable on his mobile phone.

The view over the St Michael Mount is a blast! The apartment is nicely furnished and very well maintained. We cooked regularly and found all we needed. Nice volumes and lots of light. I would love to go back.

A fine spot to enjoy Penzance
All locations are compromises. We feel that this location provides a good balance for experiencing Penzance. Right on the main road into town, but the apartment layout keeps things reasonably quiet. Not far from the train station, although some might say its presence detracts a bit from the view. Not close to grocery stores but a visit is accomplished with a reasonable walk. Not close to many restaurants but again accomplished with a brisk walk. No parking on premises, but we always managed to find an on-street spot each day in the neighborhood behind the apartment. And if no spot, the long-term parking is just down the road. The bedrooms are acceptable, but the star of the apartment is the living room with its lovely view of Mounts Bay and its overall feeling of comfort. The apartment owner responds quickly. Be sure to take advantage of this. The TV did not work properly during our stay, but in fairness we were too busy to care and never inquired about it. Overall, recommend without reservation.

Relaxing Break
Lovely relaxing couple of days away. You are greeted to a beautiful view across the bay to St. Micheals Mount. The house was clean and well maintained. I didnt like the heating/hot water being controlled remotely and being locked out of it as it was a bit chilly in the evenings there and water could have done with being hotter personally. Check in time was late (5pm) so with no where in Penzance to leave your bags it is very inconvenient but after a quick message they let us leave our bags earlier. Same with check out, we were out by 10am and we cheekily left our bags so we could spend our last few hours exploring and they happily obliged again. I would definitely return.

Great property on Penzance seafront
Really enjoyed this wonderful modern contemporary recently renovated property. Have been coming to Cornwall regularly for 40 years and this rental is near the top of the list for a perfect place to stay. The terminus for the mainline train is literally 5 minutes away though you’d never know it as it is set below the property. You can watch the Scillonian sail every day From the front window. We also saw basking sharks or whales from the window. Then the view of st michaels mount... perfect. So convenient for all the shops too

Ideal for exploring West Cornwall
Spent 8 nights here end of July / start of August. Lovely 2 bed downstairs apartment which was the perfect size for a family of 4. It's in an ideal location to explore the surrounding area either by car, or by train as the station is 2 minutes walk away. Parking can be a bit of a lottery but we always found a space. Great views from the front of the property to St Michaels Mount and the harbour where you can watch the ferry from Scilly Isles come in. Would definitely stay again.

We loved sitting at the table overlooking the water for our morning coffee or any time we were relaxing between activities. The location was great - just a short walk to town centre and to bus and train stations. Since the tourist office was closed for our first two days, we could have used more maps and information. There was some but not enough.

Everything was great, except that the door wouldn't unlock. I was locked out for over an hour at night (20 min after calling maintenance). There was a trick to unlocking the door (which was NOT described in the literature for the rental). The maintenance person showed me how. It was so idiosyncratic that the trick might be close to indescribable. This should be fixed in one way or another. Otherwise, great view, good furnishings, good kitchen, bathroom ok, except no place to put stuff. Bed was very good, and the house systems worked flawlessly.
