Pepin cottage retreat
This is a very comfortable, cozy cottage with all the amenities one could want Every detail has been thoughtfully considered so that guests feel special and spoiled. The coffee bar and drawer was a real treat. We also really enjoyed the outdoor firepit complete with s'more fixings. The quiet location is perfect for a relaxing stay and close to many shops, winery and restaurants too.

Cozy, Peaceful & Fun!
Both of our college freshman (and one fiancé!) returned home for a long weekend, and this little gem of a cabin was the perfect spot to enjoy our time. We went fishing at nearby Lake Pepin, relaxed and watched TV, played indoor and outdoor games, grilled ribeyes on the BBQ, and roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. The cabin was cozy, but more than spacious for everyone to chill out do their own thing as well. We had everything we needed, and the hosts had thought of all the details. Even our old dog “Lacey” enjoyed her time there, and appreciated the dog-friendly appointments. We look forward to returning soon for another quick getaway! Thanks so much!!!

Stunning retreat in the Driftless
What a lovely home in a beautiful location. My family, including two tiny toddlers, stayed for 5 days and absolutely loved it. There was so much to do in Pepin, Stockholm, Maiden Rock and Nelson. And within walking distance was a very convenient park, cafe, winery, and country store. The home was just perfect with modern finishes on a gorgeous rustic home. Everytime I thought of something I needed it was there - whether a light, a hook, one of the many delicious ways to have a cup of coffee, Brittany and her family thought of everything. As an environmental steward I truly appreciated the ecofriendly products as well. And how lovely to be able to bring our fur baby too. We will be back most certianly!

My best friend, daughter and I had a great stay at The Paige. The cabin has been nicely updated and decorated. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It had all the amenities you could think of: books, campfire supplies, etc. Plus it was a great location near the vineyard.

Pepin House
The house was very nicely furnished and stocked. Communication with the owners was very good. There was room for our boat and trailer, which we took out on lake Pepin. Beautiful area and lots to do. House is older and has quite a bit of charm. The bedrooms are upstairs and the single bathroom is downstairs. There are some steep stairs to get up to bedrooms. Overall it was a nice vacation getaway.

Great communication
The cozy cabin is exactly as described, cute and quaint, well stocked with games and very cozy. Pepin is very cute, great dining! The stairs are very steep as old homes are, but we didn’t mind at all with kids. There’s a park directly accross the street, very nice fire pit on the property.

Weekend getaway
The house had a very nice sitting area to socialize with another couple. The house was very well stocked for whatever was needed. Only downfall is that being a 100 year old farmhouse there were some very steep stairs to get to the bedrooms. However the beds were very comfortable. Make sure you read the binder left by the owner…everything we could not find or figure out was in there. Growing up in the area we knew there was a lot to do in that area yet we found some things we had never done. If you don’t know the area you will not be disappointed with a day trip around lake Pepin hitting river towns like Stockholm, Red Wing, Lake City, Wabasha and Nelson and of course Pepin. There is something for everyone…hiking, restaurants/bars, stores and great views.
