In nearby Lysos (5km) you will find a well known hotel (Paradisos Hills) with excellent restaurant, a further taverna, and a few other shops. Peristerona is always a very green village due to the lush vegetation. ''A Wonderful Stay – Thank You!
We're back home now – and as always, it's nice to be home, even after such a lovely holiday!
A huge thank you for all your services, which have been really great. It was genuinely refreshing to feel like I was dealing with a real person rather than an automated system – something that's increasingly rare these days. It made a big difference knowing I would always get a prompt reply whenever anything came up. Thank you very much!
Here are a few specific thoughts that I hope are helpful:
The Property:
It was just great. We loved the traditional architecture, high ceilings, spacious layout, and the beautiful craftsmanship throughout.
The Location:
Absolutely wonderful. After hot days out, coming back up the mountain to fresh air and a cool pool was such a relief – especially in the incredible heat of September! We really appreciated being away from the coast and nestled in a village, where we even got to chat with locals in the bars. People waving as they passed by – just lovely!
Local Recommendations:
We’d highly recommend the taverna in Lysos (the next village up). We only discovered it on our last night, but it was fantastic – the setting, views, and service were all top-notch. Also, The Windmill in Steni is the perfect place to sit under the traditional mulberry tree on a hot afternoon.
Service from LetsRentOnline.com:
YES, YES, YES! Personal, efficient, courteous – simply VERY, VERY GOOD service. I wish more of the world operated this way.
Local Managers/Owner:
Yes, we were satisfied with their service too.
Suggestions or Feedback:
Honestly, nothing to improve! Unless you can somehow turn down the heat – but I do realise that's out of your hands!
Many thanks again for your excellent service,
– Alison.'

''The property location was lovely but you definitely need a car to get about. Restaurants in Polis Square were nice and also along Latchi Harbour. We visited a few in Paphos Harbour and they were ok. The beaches were pebbles but fine, and we always managed to get sunbeds. The Blue Lagoon boat trip was lovely, as was visiting a monastery in the Troodos Mountains.
The service was excellent, with regular updates and helpful reminders of little things. Debbie, the owner, was lovely and popped by the day after we arrived to give us loads of information. She was on hand if we needed anything and supplied a very substantial and lovely welcome hamper.
There is nothing to improve. We would possibly return, as we rent a villa most years. I have to say the villa was outstanding — a beautiful, peaceful location with everything you needed. We didn’t want to leave.''
Kind regards,
Sharon

''The villa was good – traditional Cyprus property. clearly built and furnished as a home and not designed just as a holiday let.
Peristerona is located in a rural area with good quality road access to nearby Polis.
Service was satisfactory with good communication and clear instructions and directions. The owner, Debbie, was an excellent and thoughtful host who made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Communication with Debbie was excellent..'

''The villa was lovely, full of character and very well presented.
The location was great, easy access to Polis and Latchi. We really liked the feel of Peristerona and also how friendly everybody we met was. We had a great day doing a buggy and boat safari. The Watermill at Steni was very handy and the food was delicious (and plenty of it). The Old Town Restaurant in Polis was exceptional and we also enjoyed Moustakalis in Polis. The Island Bar and Noma in Latchi were also great. Takkas beach was also a great find along with the restaurant there.
100% satisfied with all service received.'

''We loved the traditional rustic look from the first time saw the property online and this was the chief reason for why we booked this specific villa. We were not disappointed when we arrived. The villa itself was very welcoming, well equipped and very well maintained. The grounds were fantastic and again very well maintained and very well equipped. Comfortable sunbeds, hammock, rattan chairs and dining table. The balcony areas were a favourite feature of ours and we spent a lot of time watching the sunsets from the main balcony each night of our stay.
The location was perfect, absolutely idyllic. We have been visiting Cyprus for the last 10 years, mainly around the Argaka, Polis and Latchi areas, The area is fantastic, a short walk to the local shop and Byzantine museum. The views from the villa itself were another great feature and did not disappoint at all.
We have always ventured into Polis for restaurants and have always enjoyed visiting Moustakallis Tavern, Finikas Restaurant, Old Town Restaurant, Also a few in Latchi that we have always enjoyed such as Noma, Faros, Molos and Yialos. Only a 5 minute drive away from the villa was the Watermill and the Steni Tavern both highly recommended. Our favourite place to eat during this visit was the Stone Lion in Goudhi, just a 10 minute drive away. Excellent value for money, and a fantastic menu. We had a traditional Sunday Roast there on the day we were flying back and it was amazing.
In terms of shopping, all of our main shopping was done at Papantoniou Supermarket in Polis, just a 15 minute or so drive from the Villa. We also made use of Byrons SUpermarket and the smaller Kiosks in the Polis and Latchi areas. The village shop, just a 5 minute walk from the Villa, was very well stocked and catered for our immediate needs. We have done a great deal of sightseeing in the 10 years we have been visiting, but would highly recommend the Blue Lagoon boat trip and a favourite place of ours the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates in Kourion. We stumbled across the Evretou Dam and had a great walk and picnic there. Again only a 10 minute drive away.
The service provided by yourselves was faultless. A seamless process from the time of booking to arriving back in the UK. Great communication, some valued recommendations and detailed instructions on how to get to the VIlla from the airport etc.
Our host Debbie (Owner) was fantastic. We were surprised with a substantial welcome pack when we arrived which was very much appreciated as we were delayed and all shops were closed when we arrived in the area. Debbie visited us briefly a few days after we arrived and she made some great local recommendations on local places to eat and places to visit. Debbie advised when the maid would arrive to do a changeover of sheets and towels etc and also to advise when the pool and grounds would be attended to. Both of which did not impact on our time in any way at all. Debbie kept in contact to advise on local events happening such as the Latchi Fish Festival, and she came to see us on the day we left to wish us well.''

''The villa was great in all aspects, even better then expected. The host Debbie was really help in all inquaries and only wanted us to have the best time ever and she succeeded. ''We had a really great holiday! The property, Villa Triteos, had a rustic charm that instantly made you feel at home and very comfortable. We loved the many balconies, the open plan living space, the stone arches inside and out, the spectacular views, the lovely private garden, the comfortable beds, the well equipped kitchen, the pool and much more.
Peristerona is a pretty village and a great base to explore from. A car is a necessity to reach the many beaches, local restaurants and hidden beauty spots.
We loved eating at Moustakallis in Polis, The Watermill in Steni and various beach-front restaurants in Latchi.
LetsRentOnline.com provided an excellent service and was really helpful in organising a taxi transfer from the airport and with car hire recommendations. The owner, Debbie, popped in to welcome us a couple of days into the holiday and gave us loads of great places to visit and restaurant recommendations, which were all excellent and to tell us the history of the Villa. She had also left a welcome food parcel for our arrival, which was great. Debbie also sent us all of her recommendations via WhatsApp and we knew we could contact her easily, if we needed to.
Letsrentonline.com provided an excellent service and was really helpful in organising a taxi transfer from the airport and with car hire recommendations. We were really satisfied with all communications and dealings with them.
We would love to return to Villa Triteos next year and would definitely use the Car Hire services again too.
Many thanks for all your help.
Kind regards,
Andrew and Cate '
