Our family really enjoyed the paddle boats, fishing and Pinball machines. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The welcome sign and treat basket was a really nice bonus.

A Beautiful Setting

The ease and comfort of communicating with the owners was wonderful. Beautiful location! The fishing was non stop, paddle boats, and even 5 turtles! We did 4 baseball games in 8 days. Amazing winter getaway

We had a such an incredible time staying at the lake house. Upon arrival we were impressed with how clean and organized the home was. Everything was clearly explained and labeled. There was something for everyone in our party from our youngest child (age 10) to my mother. We all loved the beautiful view, playing pinball, swimming, paddle boating and fishing. Our son caught sooo many fish. The easy access to the hiking trails at thunderbird conservation park were a big plus as well. Virginia and Joe were so nice to work with answering any questions we had quickly. We are all looking forward to our next stay!

A property is only as good as the host and Virginia and Joe are among the best. Their offering exceeds the high expectations set by their listing and my family was pleasantly surprised to find something special about it for each of them. This property was perfect for our family of 5 with adult children. The « kids » enjoyed the pedal boats and the bikes and we all enjoyed hiking the very nearby trails and then relaxing in the pool and hot tub. We were very happy that the pool and hot tub were fully heated and 100% functional upon our arrival.

Hands down BEST rental!

We have stayed at many rental places and this one was hands-down one of our favorite yet. We had a very early morning to the airport and the first thing we walked into was a personalized welcome sign with snacks (life saver). The place was very clean and had everything we needed from tons of games, huge movie library, heated pool, hot tub, paddling boats, and fishing (which we caught a ton). We spent lots of time in the back yard and the property managers were a joy to communicate with. They helped us with everything in such a timely manner and so easy to work with. Also easy location to drive and do other things. We would definitely stay here again and LOVE every moment of it!!!

AMAZING!! A+++ Property

This is such an AMAZING property! There was nothing we needed during our week stay there that wasn't already provided. It's even more amazing in person then the pictures! The house is huge - and very beautiful and clean, stocked with everything! The pool/hot tub/boats/fishing were GREAT! The owners responded instantly to any messages sent to them. I could not have asked for a better week. I can't wait to go back again as we are already planning our next trip!

Holy Smokes!

We had the best time. The pool, the hot tub, the lake and the views were amazing, and probably the best kept, cleanest vacation house we have ever stayed in. We got to see the sun rise over the hills and cacti, so beautiful. The owners provided any and everything we could think of! Plenty of TP, paper towels, towels, movies, games, snacks for when we arrived, night lights, bikes and helmets, arcade games, foosball, etc. The kitchen had every appliance and gadget you could need. The child safety feature on the door to the pool was so nice to have with our small children. We loved watching the birds, ducks and turtles on the lake. A white heron even visited from time to time. We had 3 generations all staying at the house and it was perfect, plenty of things to do together, while having plenty of space for alone time. The street is very quiet, we only saw the neighbors out walking a few times, and everyone was super friendly. Seriously 10 out of 10 (and we are a tough crowd to please :)

Great for family vacation from MN

We chose AZ for our first family vacation and this VRBO was the perfect choice. It was myself, my husband, our three kids (12,9,5.5) and my mother-in-law who stayed for four nights. We all had plenty of options to keep us entertained and the house was stocked with everything we needed and then some. It was very clean and Virginia and Joe made it so easy from check in to check out. Not sure we'll be going back to that area again but if we do, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Super Comfortable

This home was perfect for a family gathering. We spent Thanksgiving with our college age kids. Kitchen super well stocked for home cooking, We enjoyed family boat and bike rides. Games & more games... So much fun, our family fave was the pinball machines. Caught and released many fish. The view was amazing!! The house perfectly clean and very comfortable.

Great place to stay!

We took our 7 and 8 year old daughters for spring break. This house had plenty of space and made our trip very enjoyable. The pool was heated and had a cover which allowed the kids to swim even when it was unseasonably cool. The 3D tv, massaging chairs, and pinball were also favorites. We have stayed in the area a lot over the years, it was so nice to sit in the backyard and not look at a concrete wall, the views are amazing.

Amazing Stay

We’ve stayed at many home rentals, but this one tops the list as our favorite! The owners have thought of everything to make you feel at home. We loved the fishing, paddle boats, pool, hot tub, bikes, pop-a-shot, and the pinball machines. We had easy drives to multiple Cactus League spring training games and lots of things to do in the Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Glendale entertainment districts. Highly recommend staying here - perfect for our family of four. We would definitely rent here again!

AZ Getaway!

Virginia and Joe’s vacation home was the ultimate getaway! They are attentive hosts, eager to help with any questions or requests that you might have. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything from a welcome snack basket, fresh coffee, and cooking spices, to every bathroom toiletry you need. They thought of everything so you don’t have to. We had planned various activities to attend while in AZ, but you never even need to leave the house! We enjoyed playing basketball, foosball and pinball. We spent endless hours swimming in the heated pool and paddle boating in the lake. We even caught a large mouth bass while fishing right off the dock. At night we enjoyed the hot tub and huge collection of 3D movies. The nearby Thunderbird Conservation Park offered awesome hiking. We climbed Arrowhead Point and spotted the house from the summit. We made so many great memories while here. We will definitely be back to Virginia and Joe’s house again!
