Unique experience. The apartment is in the same building as residential apartments. New building with nice amenities ( outside pool, workout room and pool table.) parking is an additional fee. Check in was easy and no problems with communication from the front desk concierge. Great location to shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

Not worth the hassle
Where do I start. Check in was a nightmare. Everything is a code from entry to getting your keys. Retrieved key from key cafe but it didn’t work. After several trips up and down the elevator to the front desk and the front desk personally having to verify the key didn’t work finally got in my room after an hour wait. If it was after hours and no one was there to help I’m not sure I would’ve ever got in. Now, let’s talk about the parking. There’s minimal parking outside and the time limit is three hours if you want to park at this place, you have to pay $25 additional and rent the space for a specific time limit. Once again, this is another electronic type system where you have to scan a barcode and rent your spot. I had my girlfriend do this while I was dealing with the key situation once we left for the evening assuming she had the parking squared away we came back at night and the parking we had paid for had apparently expired. So again we had to pay another $25 to reserve a parking spot to enter the garage. Upon entry, the spot we reserved was already taken by another car since everything is electronic there’s no way to contact anyone or get the situation revolved I guess it’s just another $25 loss now totaling $50 for parking that I’ve never even got to use. To avoid getting towed, I had to park across the street at the mall and walk back to the hotel at 2 o’clock in the morning. Need to s say I will never stay here again and advise anyone to use caution before booking.

The property was very nice. Great location to downtown old Scottsdale. the only issue we had was the website for the property said coffee/tea maker. Thought this was a coffee maker so we brought coffee and coffee grinder to make coffee in the room. Typically hotel rooms have a coffee maker. However, all that was in the room was a pot to heat water for instant coffee or tea.

This is the place to stay! The location can’t be beat and everything was so automated/easy. You’ll have to download an app for the parking garage and use it to open the gate but it worked every time without any problems. Definitely staying here again!

Large apartment, new, two bedrooms. But- no coffee maker at all, only kettle for water. I have never seen a place without coffee machine. Our place smelled. Parking 77 USD for 3 days, feeling ripped off. Staff was very helpful and nice, but leaves at 5 pm, good luck checking in after they are gone, my key took awhile to get even with help.

The suite was perfect for our stay, it was spacious and clean. The location was excellent as it was central to everything and you could walk to places easily. A few things just to be aware of: the pool isn’t heated, there wasn’t any cooking utensils/ pans or dish towels in the suite. But that didn’t deter from our overall satisfaction with the stay. I’d stay there again.

Had a bit of trouble with retrieving key on check in which had me late for dinner and scrambling to get ready. But they were great about communicating I just was cutting it too close. They could use more design touches like some soft pillows on couch or throw blankets. There was no vase for my flowers my date brought me. I forgot to put key in Dropbox on departure and they were understanding and didn’t charge me for returning keys late.

This place was spacious & new. It is walking distance to all the restaurants & bars along the canal. It is right across the street from the mall. It was really pretty & perfect with all the Christmas lights along the canal. The Sentinel was mostly empty, so we had most of the common areas to ourselves. We really liked the big spa/hot tub. The common balcony was perfect to watch the sunset, but the fire feature was broken & the maintenance worker was off that day. You need to download a separate app & register an account to park there for $20 per day & use the app everytime you enter & you can only use your assigned spot, so that was inconvenient. Also, i picked this place to charge my EV, but none of the staff knew how i was supposed to pay separately to do that. A sign said you could only park in 2 spots to charge & one had a dusty tesla parked there the entire 4 days. Also, the place has a huge kitchen, but only a kettle with instant coffee packets. The lobby only offered an instant coffee machine that you had to pay for. I think most people expect to have access to real coffee in the morning. A couple other things that we have usually had at long term rentals that we didn't bring & had to buy, was laundry detergent & body lotion.

Odd from the time of arrival. Instructions unclear and incorrect. No staff at the front, given it was an after hours check-in, although we followed all the correct pre-check steps and still had troubles getting all required info to get into the building. The emails say “24 hour chat, reply here” then we get an automated response saying mail could not be delivered to the address. No clear signage either. Everything felt very dystopian.. no people to help, even during check out. Just codes and keyboxes. The suite seemed fine.. but eery. Glad we only stayed one night. Smudges on taps and kitchen island, like touch surfaces weren’t cleaned properly either.

Highly highly recommend this property! You’re close to so many restaurants, huge fashion mall, bars. Very quiet, modern, luxurious! The front concierge staff are so kind and helpful. Safe for solo travelers, I will definitely be rebooking my Scottsdale trips in the future here!
