Just back from a 10 day stay in the hotel Mandarava. We had a lovely stay, room was lovely, food was great and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet had a lovely selection. Easy walk to Karon beach and shops. It was a real oasis with amazing gardens all around the hotel. The hotel really made our stay in Phuket special.

Great but can be better
Overall great hotel and facilities. Rooms are big and staff is nice. Still, located on up hill, shuttles to Karon beach only at morning and afternoon so you need a taxi if you took the morning shuttle and want to back by noon. Check in took us long time and after we paid for the room they scanned our credit card into their system to insure extras and damages (other hotels only block some amount). Didn’t like it.

Lovely hotel that was very comfortable and well-maintained. It’s a little further away from the busier beaches/roads but it is well within walking distances. Staff were friendly and always helpful. The rooms are quite spread out over a large area (as were the pools/restaurants) but there are buggy services to bring you around, if mobility is an issue. Breakfast buffet had a large spread, although we didn’t really eat very much, the food we did try was pretty good.

Me and my husband honestly struggled to think of any bad points about our stay at Mandarava! Even when we arrived at the hotel at 10am (check in 2pm) they let us into our room at 10.30am after a very long journey. Staff were amazing. All very friendly. Mango pool was fab (we were right next to it). Hotel is on a hill and lots of steps but you can get a taxi back from Karon beach for 200 baht and hotel offer shuttles around the resort. Very close to Karon. Both restaurants were great and food was also high quality at the pool bars and room service. Lots of good restaurants nearby at Karon beach approx 10 min walk. Very sad to have left yesterday!

Excellent stay staff were excellent just a really nice place to stop rooms were lovely had everything you would need also very clean and well laid out . We really enjoyed our stay here , the breakfast was also very good with a nice selection the onsite restaurant's were excellent . Be prepared for the steep walk as the hotel is situated on a hill side can be a struggle in the heat even though the shuttle vehicle's operating from reception will take you back to your room. fantastic infinity pools with bars the bars offer drinks as well as food which we used quite often. Overall a fantastic 5 star hotel would highly recommend if stopping at Karon Beach.

First time ever planning a vacation, Mandarava Resort & Spa took great care of my sister and I and made sure our stay was as comfortable as could be. Made a mistake with the booking and the staff did a great job in making last minute accommodations for us! Would definitely recommend for anyone!

We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is peaceful and natural in a forest type of setting. Accommodation was very clean and well laid out. Pools were fantastic and restaurants very good. A lovely resort and staff
Staff were lovely, check in was easy, we were at the top of resort which we were driven too the first night and walked every other day, alot of stairs but good exercise, Bfast was a good spread. Its a 1.3k walk down to Karon Beach and shop's but they offer a shuttle at set hours. Our room had its own.pool outside doors so nice. The spa was a lovely treat and had great deals.

Loved our stay here. Friendly staff. They were very accommodating. The rooms were abit outdated but had everything you need. Food at the resort was decent. The Thai restaurant at the resort has the best Thai food. The swimming pools are fantastic.
