It doesn’t feel like a 5 star resort- more like a 3 star. The best thing about it is the location as it’s right near the beach and great food in Kamala. The rooms were comfortable enough but there’s lots of things broken or worn out in the rooms and around the property. The staff were nice but you didn’t feel as welcome or looked after as you would at usual 5star places. Breakfast had a lot of different options but nothing was a real stand-out. It probably should have been included rather than an add on and same with the welcome drink- usually resorts just give you one on arrival for free. It was unusual that I had to prebook it. Also, when I was in the pool, another person took my towel (by mistake I assume) so I was left without a towel. I went to explain this to the staff and they refused to give me a new towel. I waited a day and talked to someone else and they gave me a new towel but not without a bit of a lecture of losing my towel (which I explained that I did not lose it, it was taken). They made a big deal out of it and this left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, I liked the location and it was a pleasant stay but not somewhere I’d go back to.

The reviews are fake. This property is extremely dirty. There is mold everywhere. After complaining to the staff about how dirty the room was after checking in, they said they would come and clean. All they did was clean the floor. The bathroom are never cleaned. The sink area not cleaned. Toilet still dirty. Spoke to property manager and he did not care. He offer me a cab to the airport for when I checked out, and I said no. I asked for my money back for the nights I still had left and he said that he could not give me my money back. All he can do is give me a $10 transfer to the airport. I told him no, that is not equal or even near to the $169 I paid extra for one more night before finding out how disgusting this place was. I don’t recommend this place to anyone to stay here. Everything has mold. When I told the staff I could not believe this was a 5 star hotel, she decided to correct me and tell me it was a 4 star hotel as this is suppose to justify how dirty their place is. They also charge more depending who you are and where are you coming from. They don’t know what they are doing. They charge me for breakfast and then next day told me I never paid. Escorted me out of the restaurant like I was stealing. Unprofessional staff, they don’t care to listen or understand. Please don’t stay here, go somewhere else trust me. Reviews are fake!!!!

Terrible hotel, stay away! This hotel is disgusting and filthy. The room was dirty, and the sheets were stained. It was crawling with bugs and flies everywhere. We asked for a refund, and the manager said they would approve it only if we didn’t leave a bad review. We reluctantly agreed, but afterward, they refused to give us any refund at all. Needless to say, we left the place immediately and didn’t stay the night. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

Great location across from the beach. Beautiful hotel. Front desk staff were not helpful- I asked questions about the beach access and neighbourhood and didn’t get much assistance. Also requested an iron and ironing board and it never arrived. Room was beautiful and was cleaned well for my whole stay.

It’s an excellent place to stay for the cost. Two minutes from beach. On Main Street by beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants. I stayed in a garden cottage for £37 per night which I thought was really good value. The cottage is delightful. Some cottages are different but mine had a large patio overlooking several ponds. Some of cottages had smaller patios and were by the walk way leading to that area so there may be an element of luck in getting one by the ponds. I had the breakfast one morning and it was very good for 450B. Reasonably good selection of different foods and in a restaurant looking out to the beach. The pool is excellent. Quite deep so good for swimming but has shallow parts at one end. There were two other pools. I would very happily stay here again. It’s not a luxury property but for the price it is great!

First not beachfront as advertised . More like a parking lot in front of hotel. Staff at front desk were less than helpful or friendly..maybe they were all having a bad day. Not many dining options. Dirty filthy beach. You would hope with a resort like this they would try to keep beach up. Would not recommend.

The property is not beachfront. The beach is very dirty with garbage everywhere. There are maybe 2 good restaurants in the town. Prices were high. Front desk were not too friendly. Would not visit again.
