Tastefully decorated chalet "Carpe Diem" that can accommodate up to 8 people with an area of 90m² on 2 floors. Located close to shops, restaurants, bars and tourist office in a small mountain village. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the glacial valley of the Salt Fountain and the Massif du Sancy.

400m from the start of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. You will also find Gayme lake 500m away, with pétanque, children's playground, ping pong table and pontoons for fishing.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Cozy and secluded chalet
A comfortable and well-equipped rental. It had everything imaginable in terms of kitchenware, recreational materials (games, cards), tourist brochures, cleaning materials, and bathroom supplies. The tourist information was solely in French as well as all instructions for the use of appliances. We highly recommend an English version, especially for the appliances, for those who have little to no French. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the owner about charges for linen and towels. The VRBO English site indicated no extra charge for this. It seems that the French site did. This is a serious oversight/problem. Beware users of the English website before you book! However, Corinne was very amenable and understanding about this issue and we resolved it amicably. Overall, the accommodation is very good. And visiting such a beautiful volcanic landscape was an unforgettable and once in a lifetime experience. Merci, Corinne.

Lovely and quiet location and accommodation
The place was easy to find. Very spacious and well equipped. In a lovely quiet setting with views of the woods and mountains. Bakery was 5 mins walk away. Other small shops were in a similar location, providing basic items. Many signposted walks near by. We were very impressed with the surrounding areas and would happily stay in the accommodation again.

Wonderful chalet in great location - a perfect holiday home in every respect
Really special chalet in lovely village - very convenient for skiing at Super-Besse, Mont Dore & Chastreix. Spotlessly clean, fantastic well-equipped kitchen, heating & showers were very good, comfortable beds, useful room to dry wet ski gear. Fantastic cozy atmosphere - Corinne the owner is vey helpful and did everything possible to ensure we had a wonderful time. Hope to stay again next year!

CHALET CONFORT POUR UN SEJOUR REUSSI
Equipements - isolation - déco - propreté - canapés+tv+couchages de qualité (très rare en locatif estival) - accès et localisation - calme - et temps clément, autant d'éléments essentiels et positifs qui nous ont permis d'apprécier nos 15 jrs cet été, en faisant peu ou 0 km pour de belles randos à faible dénivelé pour les genoux. Terrine et bière en guise de bienvenue ! Boucher-traiteur + boulanger à 10 mn à pieds. Voisinage immédiat par chance discret. Pas de rencontre physique avec les propriétaires éloignés mais contacts fluides et retours rapides et efficaces. Quoi demander de plus !

Weekend entre amis
Un weekend entre copains pour fêter une occasion spéciale. Le chalet est absolument parfait dans sa configuration, son équipement et ses prestations. Le cadre est somptueux. Cette année, l'Auvergne était majestueuse avec cette météo qui avait favorisé la végétation. Les échanges avec la propriétaire sont très fluide et les réponses parfaites. Superbe chalet, tout confort
Le chalet est vraiment beau, donne sur une forêt magnifique, il est très confortable, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour petits et grands (ustensiles de cuisine, équipements, jeux de société...). Malgré le beau temps pas vraiment au rendez-vous, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le chalet et avons apprécié la beauté de la nature environnante. Notre hôte a toujours été trės réactive et très arrangeante. Nous recommandons vivement!

Séjour paisible au coeur de l'Auvergne
Le logement était idéal pour un weekend en famille. Il est tout équipé, très propre, très agréable en termes d'espaces et luminosité, et très confortable. Il est bien placé pour faire des randonnées, visiter des fermes et déguster du délicieux fromage, ou aller visiter la jolie ville de Besse. Corinne était très réactive par message et très claire dans sa communication ce qui a rendu la logistique de l'arrivée et du départ du logement extrêmement facile. En bref, un super séjour, je recommande ! Ma seule et unique réserve serait peut-être que les commerces accessibles à pieds restent limités, mais ce n'est pas gênant, juste bon à savoir.

De retour à Picherande après deux ans. Le chalet est toujours aussi bien entretenu et accueillant. Contact avec le gérant très simple. Location idéalement placé pour les balades, randos et découvertes culturelles et gastronomiques du Sancy. On pose une option pour un troisième weekend à Picherande.

Arrivés dans un chalet dont l intérieur est magnifiquement décoré, très chaleureux rien ne manque propreté irréprochable. Malheureusement la neige étant aux abonnés absents pendant notre séjour, nous en avons profité pour visiter la région à Saint Nectaire Fontaines Pétrifiantes à ne pas manquer de visiter entre autre, et les balades dans les forêts avoisinantes.
