Arrived to find tree damage to roof, damage visible inside and outside...
Roof damage inside/ outside from fallen tree that had been removed....rust on stove....rotted floor in basement....damaged heater in basement...sqirrells in soffits due to damage...broken toilet seat upstairs....toilet upstairs ran constantly.....theres always an ability to understand uncontrollable things....but the repairs that are needed and can be done are controllable....the house should not be rented due to the tree damage....

Squirrels in the roof
It looked like a tree had fallen on the roof. The tree had been removed, but there was a hole in the roof. This allowed squirrels to get in and have a party over the master bedroom!! No sleep was had! Also, the dishes were literally put away dirty! We had to wash coffee cups and silverware before using them. It was the worst experience we’ve ever had at a VRBO. We actually moved cabins for that one night bc it was so bad. Would love a refund, but that was never mentioned….conveniently!!

Labor Day weekend
The property was cozy and clean. However when we went to use the washer and dryer the dryer button was broken and the relay box was hanging over the dryer. So we could not use the dryer. We called 800 number for cabins for you twice and no one came out to fix it. We had to improvise with what towels and washcloths we had to last us the weekend. And we had to take all our dirty cloths home to wash today.

Not too bad
The property itself wasn’t too bad. Some of the interior wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be but it was fine. We did not know that there was a landfill down the street....the smell was unbearable at times.
