After 2 days of trying to cancel rsvp due to no manager available (to expedia or myself), we drove 5 hrs around (our route 411 was closed) to make our reservation to be greeted with a nasty room that was not cleaned, & bugs (roaches). When i took pictures & went to front desk, the lady was very rude at which time she managed to contact a manage on firat attempt. Said manager then called me with threats of poilce if my family & myself didnt leave property within 30 mins. I do NOT recommend this property & honestly do not think they deserve a spot on expedia platform. Expedia was amazing & prompt when immediately contacted them during the situation.

We stayed in a king room on the 7th floor and the area where the sink was had no light fixture for that area and that was a little odd to me because I have long hair and actually need light to comb my hair. I would suggest them installing some kind of lighting for that area

NASTY AND RUN DOWN!
Upon further inspection after we checked in, this place was filthy! We went to our room and it smelled so bad, the bathroom walls were nasty, the air conditioning unit literally fell apart as my son was inspecting it. There was dust and dirt and an oral thermometer in the mess that fell off the unit. The ceiling had water spots all over . We immediately called to get another hotel. We did not stay in that filth. They are supposed to credit my card back, they said for one night only even though the conditions were not livable. I have not received anything yet. Online, this place looked great but it was anything but.

Eh. Location is the only real good thing.
Hotel is starting to feel VERY run down. Some major upgrades to the rooms and building itself are needed. Beds were hard and made a ton of noise, mini fridge was loud, back room in the 2 bedroom was HOT and the light flickered. The bathrooms fan was broke, the shower curtain did nothing to stop water getting on the floor, feel were black after walking around. The whole room felt dingy and old.

No frills good value for the money. I had $8.39 of one key cash so it only cost $38 for the night. I stayed in a King room # 503 and thought it had a great view. Sodas and water from the vending machine only cost $1.

Comfortable Economic Option
We just needed a night to sleep while we enjoyed Pigeon Forge. This fit us well. No frills, clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. Parking is around back, across the street. The hotel is right on the strip so you likely will hear the cars. Hair dryer didn’t work and they informed us that they did not have a spare. I will stay again when in a similar situation.

The beds were comfortable. The towels were soft. The lighting in the room was not very good. The light between the beds reflected on the TV so it could not be on by watching TV. Bathroom had been started to be remodeled, but it was like they stopped and just threw the stuff up there. It still needs a lot of work. Indoor pool was not available.

I am disappointed with hotels.coms. I had a reservation for 10/18-20 at Mountain Vista Inn & Suites. I had to cancel and tried unsuccessfully since 10/8. You should be able to see my chats in the help section, and I called the hotel directly. I could not find the phone number on the hotels.com website until today. When I spoke with the representative, Jerry, he was very helpful and said that I will receive a 1 day refund. I'm disappointed to lose the payment for the first day, since I have tried in earnest to cancel well in advance. If there is any way I could get a refund for the 1st day as well, I would be very grateful.

Fit our needs
The room fit our group and was very nice to have everyone in one room. There was not enough room on the balcony to sit. Room was clean and the staff was very accommodating.
