Short stay after concert

We stayed here after a concert at PPG paints and the hotel was very nice and welcoming. This hotel was a nice place to relax before and after the show. The lady at the downstairs bar was very nice and we enjoyed talking to her. The room had everything we needed in it. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, room was quiet, and over all the room was great. The carpet did have some stains on it in some areas but it did not bother us. The breakfast did not start on time. They started breakfast at 8am and it is suppose to start earlier around 6:30am. They did not inform us how late they were going to start so we sat at a table and waited for an hour until they decided to serve breakfast. The breakfast was also not worth the price for just a small omelet for $14 bucks. While we would stay here again we would go elsewhere for breakfast. Other than the breakfast we had a fantastic stay and will stay again.

Great hotel, but maybe skip the restaurant

The hotel was clean and nice, I loved the convenience of the proximity to PPG Paints Arena, as we were there for a concert. I’m glad i read other reviews and was made aware of the parking fee that way and not being surprised later. The only major complaint I have is that the staff at the restaurant seemed like they could not care less about their jobs or about giving proper customer service (coming from someone who’s been working in customer service for 17 years)

Overall good stay and clean

Great stay overall consistent issues with room keys not functioning and having t be reset... please look at upgrade in system as we were told to keep it away from our phones and wallet due to magnets but the question becomes where are we supposed tostore it??

Nice hotel in downtown area, very convenient to arena and walkable to stores and restaurants. Nice pool/hot tub area. Only real drawback was that the diner area was understaffed for breakfast.

We were in town for a show and PPG is across the street. Perfect spot. Prior to the show, the hotel had drinks, hamburgers and hotdogs on the patio (for a fee). I’m not a beef hotdog fancy but these were delicious. I think a local brand. Nice room, quiet considering we were all there for a concert. No complaints!

Overall perfect location for this visit. A few takeaways, parking explanation from checkin could have been better- Breakfast onsite was tasty but out of staple items like croissants and syrup that are on menu. Waiter very nice but should definitely let you know prior to ordering outages.

I liked the area of the hotel Something that I would change and suggest about the hotel is updating their rooms. I noticed a lot of broken furniture near the fridge and microwave area. Also, I tried to use the fridge in the room and it wasn’t working. It wasn’t making anything cold. I brought my own cooler also for this reason. Another thing that I was not pleasant about is in the shower. There is no sliding door so the other half of the shower is open and all the water comes out. One other thing is that a person is already paying to stay for the time they are staying at the hotel. There shouldn’t be a parking fee that should be complementary with the hotel The fee is very high for the parking. They are charging almost $40 per day. So the complete state would cost so much more extra money The pool could be bigger

Disappointed

The room price was increased for the event at PPG arena, which was taking place that night, That was to be expected. However, I did not expect to pay $350 for a room that was in such poor condition. I was so disappointed in the condition of the room. The room was very dusty. Every surface was covered in dust. The carpet throughout the entire room was stained and filthy. I never took off my shoes. The makeup mirror in the bathroom was falling off the wall, making it unusable. The wallpaper was patched in areas. The bedside table lamp was broken. I was so disappointed. I have stayed here before and it was lovely. We booked this room since we were going to the show at PPG. It kind of put a damper on our evening.

Dirty, one elevator did not work so you waited every single time. Mold all throughout the ice machine (look inside of it if you dare) first room ac was broken they moved me across the hall. Shower was to the point you felt dirtier after using it. The bed was a rock. Just expensive for a 2 star hotel . Find someplace else.
