Family members came and hung out in the living area of our 2 bedroom suite and got mad that they had booked at a regular hotel.
We really enjoyed the apartment-like stay and the splendid views of PPG place and looking up to Mt. Washington from town was a perspective I'd never bothered to take.
The PPG glass windows are one-way glass. We looked in from the outside and you cannot see a thing, so no curtains necessary. But, both bedrooms had dropdown shades to block light and the most modest of guests.
Bathroom was clean and kitchen was neat. Fridge was clean.
We had fun shooting baskets on the rooftop court.
This is within walking distance of the point, right on Market square, and easy access to the airport and Fort Pitt Bridge.
Cons: One of the dropdown shades was broken. Dryer had lint build-up. Ice maker had ice stuck together and clogged in it. Phone had 3 old messages on it. Dishwasher wasn't clean - although there were no dishes in it. The one adjoining wall had noisy people yelling at each other so that one bedroom guest had a fitful 2 night's sleep. (She still loved the room)
Front desk can validate your parking ticket each time before you go out so that you get a better parking rate. This wasn't super clear on check-in.
Overall, I hope that staff is able to keep up with cleaning and maintenance as it is not a traditional hotel. We will watch the reviews to see if they do, and then we will definitely be coming back.
