One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever had. Breakfast was nice with eggs, sausage, waffles. Staff was friendly. Hotel was in nice condition. Just one caution: if you are a light sleeper, request a room not facing the highway.

The location was very close/convenient to shopping areas. There were decent restaurants in the vicinity. The outdoor area was mediocre at best. Needs a bit of landscaping. Some fall plants in planters around the door would have dressed up the entrance a lot. Trash picked up daily, etc. The interior was clean and tidy. The staff was polite, friendly, and professional. There was a problem with the washing machines so my room was not ready when I checked in. I had to wait awhile for the bed to be made. I was a bit taken aback bu the $50 refundable deposit. Are there really that many people that leave the room in such a state as to require such a deposit? The only time I have run into such a charge is when my dog travels with me. Geez, how much would I have been charged had he been with me? Otherwise, my stay was very good.

Great stay!
We've never been to pittsburg, PA before, so we wanted to make a leisure trip. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at Hometown Studio & Suites. We had some concerns in the room, but they were addressed immediately. Excellent customer service. We will return again.

Check in was very nice. The room was clean but very noisy. Loud humming coming from above that went on all night. Loud AC unit - had to turn it off. Paint peeling around shower. Furnishings were dated and a little beat up. All in all just average.

Internet service was unavailable. No reimbursement or discount was offered. This appears to be an ongoing problem at this hotel. The front desk staff was sympathetic and understanding. The carpet in our room was heavily soiled. We needed to keep our shoes on when traversing the room. Breakfast was a mere snack. ( Fruit bar/ oatmeal)
