No bells and whistles. No breakfast which I knew when i booked. Ice machine for all 7 floors is in the basement. Nice place to stay for a few days if you dont expect much.

Check-in was fast and easy, and the lobby is very modern and recently renovated. The rooms, however, don’t feel nearly as nice. From the photos and description we expected an updated three-star hotel. The bed was creaky, the bathroom felt in need of updating, and we heard everything happening in the hallways and neighboring rooms. I wouldn’t have minded if it was more reasonably priced. Despite feeling outdated, the room was at least clean.

Very good overall.
Downstreet is a nice hotel in a good location - walking distance from Mass MOCA and many local restaurants. It is quite clean, with a gracious, modern lobby. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. Good housekeeping service is getting rarer these days, but Downstreet did an excellent job. My only complaint is that the sound separation between rooms is terrible. We could hear someone snoring all night from the room on one side of us and the slightest movements of our neighbors on the other side. We had to turn on the fan on the AC system to serve as white noise. So much light came through the cracks in the hall door that that end of the room glowed all night.

GOOD LOCATION
This was a very modern feel Hotel. The LPV Flooring and dark blue ceiling kind of gives off a "cold feel" to the room. Plus, the doors close very hard and all I heard every morning were door slamming form other rooms throughout our floor starting at 6am. We did like the location, as it is right on Main Street and an easy walk to most things in town.
