The hotel is situated in the centre of the town of Lacaune, with free public parking in the square across the road. Lacaune is well-placed for touring the region, and the locally-produced charcuterie has a deserved reputation.
From the outsidw the hotel is nothing special, but inside the building's 19th century character has been preserved on the ground floor, which features a comfortable wood-panelled bar, as well as the dining room, and a period wooden staircase leading to the bedrooxms ( there is a lift as well!)
The restaurant offers excellent value for money, with a 3 course dinner at 19 euro, including a selection of the local charcuterie.
Our double room was small, but well-equipped, and the bathroom had clearly been recently modernised.
Staff at check-in, check-out, and in the dining room at dinner and breakfast were friendly and attentive.
