I recently stayed at a property in Mexico and had a pleasant experience overall. The property is well-kept, with beautiful gardens that are meticulously maintained. The pools are decent but could use some attention, as they are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The food was satisfactory, although I was expecting more flavor, especially coming from a Latino background. The Mexican à la carte restaurant was a bit disappointing in that regard, but the steakhouse, Vaquería, was fantastic and definitely a highlight of the dining options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which added to the overall positive experience. However, the only part I did not like was the upselling that they constantly tried to do while we were at the hotel. They pushed for additional purchases like photos, tours, and upgrades. We had already spent a lot of money to come to this hotel, and it felt like they were trying to make us spend even more. The lady who checked us in was more focused on selling the platinum bracelet than ensuring our room was okay. Unfortunately, when we got to our room, it was quite disappointing—it was dirty, with dust everywhere, a grimy bathroom, and a refrigerator door that was filthy. We had to move to a different room around midnight after traveling for about 16 hours with two children, which was exhausting. The beach is stunning, although navigating the rocks can be challenging. Large property, fairly well maintained. Well staffed. Staff is good and friendly. Rooms cleaned daily. Kids club hours not as convenient as other similar resorts. Kids club closed between 1pm and 3pm and then again after 4:45pm. Food at the buffet was on the lower side of quality. Restaurant food was good. Drinks watered down.

This last trip I took was from Aug 12-19th. I stayed on the princess sunset side. Check in was horrible, not to mention it was extremely hot. It just appeared the staff were taking their sweet time. I waited in line for at least 20 minutes. Not to mention I was the only one in line. The property looked beautiful with all the natural flowers and landscaping. I noticed one of the building appeared to have part of the roof coming off. This was probably only cosmetic but still it gives a an off look. For the most part, this hotel was clean however there were lots of lemur looking animals all over the hotel. This little rats were jumping in and out of the trash and at times were stealing food from other tourist. It was cute at first, but got annoying very quick. I love that there is very easy access to the beach. It was nice. The food was avarage, nothing special except for the Miso Restaurant. That restaurant was amazing. The other complaint I had was the restroom shower had no hot water. I had to take David Goggin showers every morning shake my head. The AC in our room worked well but there was not adjustment to it. It was either freezing or it began getting warm. Overall, for the price this was a good choice!

Found Cockroach in the room. Do not leave patio doors open. Racoons intend to walk into your room and eat what ever they find and trash room. Also black snake around 3foot long in the patio. Be careful and truly check the rooms. Staff was friendly. Almost same food in buffet everyday.

I think this resort is overrating because the food is so-so. I was told by some guests that stayed there multiple times the food used to be much better but not anymore. They have great ingredients meats, vegetables but the food is just not good untasted. Also the rooms should be remodel. Service great. The beach is very rocky difficult to walk through.
