Near Split (8 km), excellent location, 10 min walk to the beach(400m), ideal for a family with small kids. Neighborhood is calm and quiet. About 10 min walk from the house there is a 5* hotel resort with casino, disco club, tennis and excellent restaurants.
House has two floors, on the first is living room, recreation room with couch for two, bathroom and kitchen with terrace (25m2). On the second floor there are bathroom and tree rooms. In two rooms are big beds (180*200), and in third room is 160*200 bed. Each room has output to the terrace, one is 5m2, and two others are 25m2.
House is located in Podstrana, beautiful touristic place on the Adriatic coast, near Split. It faces the sea and the islands, with the high hill of Perun (533 meters), a coastal reef of the Mosor mountain range, behind it, stretching along the 6 km long indented coast.
The cradle of what is today Podstrana is Stara Podstrana (Old Podstrana), which loyally guards a line of old houses made of rock situated beneath the hill of Perun, in whose courtyards and narrow streets the spirit of olden days pulsates uninterrupted.
Long beaches with numerous entertainment facilities are only 400 m away from the house. After the beach, you can enjoy bicycle and mountain treks in Stara Podstrana, from which a beautiful view, ideal for photography enthusiasts. In the evening, you can enjoy Dalmatian konobas(trattorie) with their traditional dishes and a game of ballote.
Public transportation is available through the public bus n°60 that goes directly from center of Split to our place and back. It runs from 5 am until midnight every 30 min from the bus station in the center, and goes directly to Podstrana. There are also some private small buses ( Dalmatinac), servicing the same route that you can take.
If you want, you can also in vicinity find some other activities like snorkeling and scuba diving, 5 hole Golf course (5km away), Hiking/ Rock climbing (10km away) and Rafting/Canyoning/Canoeing on river - Cetina (17km away). Definitely, you must visit Split ( Diocletian Palace and UNESCO downtown, also Marjan hill) and Omiš.
